I walked down the dirt road and over to my parent's old white barn, where they stood outside. Walking over to them, I caught sight of dad holding his gun, and mom standing behind him in fear.

"So," I say, grabbing their attention. "What is it that I'm dealing with?"

My dad handed me his gun, which I refused.

"There's a buck ass naked man in the barn and we need you to get him out. I'm not going in there, and neither is Heather."

I nod and square my shoulders before heading inside the barn doors. It was quiet inside, except for the sounds of heavy breathing. I walked around, careful of my surroundings and noticed the saddle room door was open. I walked over, careful of my footing, as quiet as a cat, and open the door. My claws on my right hand began to unsheathe but I quickly stopped as I saw the man crouched on the floor.

The man was sweating, bullets of sweat dripping down his face. His hair was dark brown and slicked back from what I guessed was the result of being wet. He had a beard that was nicely shaved on his cheeks and almost circling completely around his mouth. He was an interesting looking man, apart from the completely ripped body that accompanied his fine face.

"Sir?"

The man looked at me, his eyes a beautiful brown.

"What in the hell are you doing here?" I ask.

The man pants and looks down, still trying to catch his breath.

"It's cold," he finally says.

I nod and then open the door all the way. Exposing the rest of his body, I realized that he indeed was, completely naked.

"You have no clothes on," I note.

"Yeah," he replies.

I look around. "You're not on drugs are you?"

The man shakes his head and looks down. "No."

The man looked back up at me and I nodded. He definetely was weird and freaking me out but I felt a bit sorry for him. Maybe he got jumped. No he's too large to be jumped and have all his things stolen.

"No, just had a rough night?" I assume.

"Yeah you could say that," he said, his panting slowing down.

I stood up tall and let my arms fall to my sides.

"Come on up to the house. Some of my brother's old clothes will probably fit you." I grabbed a blanket that was set on the table next to me and threw it at him. "Here. Cover it up with that, huh? I don't need you giving my mom a heart attack."

I walked off, leaving him staring at me with a confused face.

Later that day, I called Jordan up explaining what happened and who the guy was. She told me many times that he was probably on drugs and stuff but I shook it off. I ended up staying the night after Jordan persuaded me to keep watch over my parents until the man left. Which is why I'm still here.

I got up from my bed and walked out of my old room, checking down the hallway. The man from earlier, had escaped to the bathroom and was taking forever.

"Supper time, (Y/N)!" My mother called. "Get the guest too!"

"Yes Ma'am!"

I walked over to the bathroom door and knocked on it.

CRASH! TING! HISS!

"You alright in there?" I asked.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine!"

The hissing sounds were still going on so I stood there for a second, confused. Maybe I really did need to stay and watch this guy.

"Supper's on the table," I tell him.

"Uh, yeah, I'll be there in a minute."

I walked away and headed towards the dining room. My mother was placing food on the table while my father was putting food on his plate. I sat down across from my mother and began to put food on my plate. It wasn't until the man walked in with a piece from our sink, had we all stopped and looked at him.

"Oh," my mother said.

The man looked down at the piece and then at my father.

"I swear, I'm gonna pay for it," he said sincerely.

My father looked at him shocked and then turned back to the table.

"Set it down over there," my father said as he pointed to the counter.

"Right."

I went back to eating, lowering my head, making sure not to make eye contact with him.

"Come and sit down, son," my mother offered.

Mom what the hell is wrong with you.

The man walked over to the end of the table, next to me and my mom and took a seat. The chair squeeked a little when he sat down.

Heavy, I take note.

"I can't thank you all enough for everything," the man said.

"It wouldn't have been decent to have (Y/N) leave you out there to freeze," my father said.

I rolled my eyes and looked at my father, who smiled.

"Decent," the man whispered.

"What?" My mother asked.

"Nothing. I'm just not really used to that word," the man awkwardly said before taking a bight of his food. He paused for a second. "That's a nice chopper you've got out there."

"You know motorcycles?" My father and I ask unisonly.

"Oh! Lord, here we go," my mother complained.

I was a fanatic for motorcycles. Before my brother, well my half-brother, went missing, I always talked to him and my father about them. It was motorcycle this and motorcycle that. My mother often got tired of it.

The man turned to me and smiled before looking to my father, who was completely happy to talk about motorcycles again. It had been years since a good conversation about them. Since I had left that is.

"My favorite's a '48 Panhead. Bought one new off the line," the man said.

"I think you're a little young for that, son," my father laughed.

I was about to say something when my mother looked up at me and shook her head.

Right, no talking about me being old.

"You must be exhausted. You get a good night's sleep," my mother said to the man.

"In the barn!" I add.

My father nods and rolls his eyes.

"Nothing you can break out there, I suppose."

The man laughed and continued to eat. When we all finished, I helped the guy back into the barn and gave him some blankets. I made a bed for him in one of the stalls.

"Thank you," the man said to me.

I looked up at him and nodded, before walking out of the stall. I stopped before leaving and turned around.

"Hey, I never got your name," I said.

"Logan."

"Nice to meet you, Logan. I'm (Y/N)."

Logan nodded and waved me goodnight. I returned the favor and left him in the barn where he could sleep.
