~Logan's P.O.V.~
It was the first time I had seen (Y/N) smile and to be honest, she was quite attractive when she did. Besides the fact that she was naked that is.
"OI! PERV, GET YOUR NASTY EYES OFF MY FRIEND," Jordan screeched at me as (Y/N) sat up.
I looked away as "Jordan", as she calls herself, helped (Y/N) out of bed and into some clothes. It was taking a while, so I sat back down in my chair next to the bed.
After a few minutes, (Y/N) and Jordan came back. (Y/N) was put into a nice pair of black skinny jeans and a yellow long sleeve with black stripes. She looked nice in yellow and the bright yellow shoes on her feet complimented her shirt.
"Hey," (Y/N) waved to me. I waved back with my right eyebrow raised. "So, thanks for saving my ass back there. Jordan's too. I don't know what I would've done if you hadn't come back for me."
"Yes you do," Jordan cut in. "I would've saved your ass."
I looked over to Jordan, who has been glaring at me since she got back from helping (Y/N) change. Her glare was pretty intimidating but it also made her look like a 5 year old about to have a temper tantrum.
"I told you, (Y/N). They do horrible things. Why didn't you listen to me? I would've helped you get Jordan out the easy way!"
"Easy way?" (Y/N) mocked me. "You mean by killing everyone? Incase you didn't notice, violence isn't always the answer!"
"Check your history books, (Y/N). Violence is always the answer," I spat.
I could see the anger in (Y/N) build up and the anger in me got larger and larger with hers.
"I needed to save my friend!" (Y/N) argued.
"But you put yourself in danger at the same time!" I argued back.
"AGH! Why do you make sense but have to make things harder?!"
"Because I'm more experienced and I know what I'm doing!"
(Y/N) took a few steps forward and got in my face. She was pissed off by me arguing, but one thing I know is that I hate being wrong and I never back down from a fight; I know I'd win.
"Don't confuse your rank with my knowledge you bastard," (Y/N) spat.
I grabbed (Y/N) by the wrist and pulled her forward, placing my hand on her throat. "Then let me help you fix your knowledge and give you more stability with what you say."
Jordan pressed her body between (Y/N)'s and mine and pushed us away from each other. "And I thought I'd be the one arguing! Damn! You guys are like two angry old women fighting over the last fish in the frozen section! Take a break!"
I could see (Y/N) breathing heavily, staring at me with such intensity I began to feel off. I shook off the sensation and stared at her back with my eyebrow raised and a smirk on my face.
"How about I go make some breakfast and we all set aside our problems for now, okay? Does that sound good?" Jordan offered, placing a hand on (Y/N)'s shoulder.
(Y/N) gulped and inhaled deeply, making her seem bigger than what she was. "Fine, but if Logan makes one wrong move, your parent's are going to need a lot of money to fix this house."
I waited as (Y/N) made her way out of the room, leaving me and Jordan to stand alone.
"What's up with her all of a sudden?" I ask.
Jordan shrugged. "Probably likes you but doesn't want to admit it and is super grateful that you rescued her because that operation thing hurt like the dickens and she's in pain right now and when she's in pain or super tired her emotions get all over the place like syrup and speaking of syrup I'm going to make waffles now do you like waffles?"
"You babble a lot for your age," I point out. "I'm not much for breakfast and I haven't eaten waffles before, so sure," I answer passively.
"I'm gasping right now. NEVER HAD WAFFLES?! I'm ashamed to have you standing next to me." Jordan spun on her heel and waltzed out the bedroom door. "Oi! (Y/N)! Set up the waffle iron!"
A clunk was heard, followed by an OW! from Jordan.
"I'm not your slave!" (Y/N) answers.
"But you are my peasant~!" Jordan says in a sing song voice.
I chuckled and walked out of the room, following Jordan to the kitchen.
~(Y/N)'s P.O.V.~
After Jordan ended up making a huge mess in the kitchen, we finally had food to eat. Jordan's parent's house was very nice, with a rounded table in the dining room and an island in the kitchen.
I ended up sitting down closest to the window just to see the outside. After experiencing death, I kind of forgot what it was like to be outside or worse, what it even looked like outside. How long was I gone? How long had life gone by without me.
I was interrupted when Logan sat next to me. It surprised me that he would want to sit next to me right after we had just fought, but, the past is the past and things must be forgiven.
"Are you feeling alright?" Logan asked as Jordan placed a plate of waffles in front of him. I had eaten half of my waffles before my death thoughts snaked their way into my brain.
Dangerous place.
Don't go there.
"Yeah," I finally say after turning my attention back to my half eaten stack of waffles. "Just thinking about stuff."
"Like what?" Logan asked, taking a bite of his food. He sat there for a second, chewing. Then he devoured his food like a dog after realizing how good it was.
"I think I died during that operation."
Jordan dropped her mug of tea that she was drinking and it smashed into pieces on the floor. Logan looked over to me as I stared at my plate.
"Hey," Logan said as he placed his hand on mine. "Things happen you know? When I went through my operation, I sort of 'died' in a way too, but you can't let that stop you. You lived, you're here and we're good, right?"
I looked at Logan and he smiled at me, which made me smile back.
"There's that smile!" Logan said as he tightened his grip on my hand.
Jordan came over with a spatula and slapped Logan on the hand. "Oi! No PDA in my house! Where's your manners?"
Logan and I laughed and I offered him my plate. Logan took it happily and devoured the other half of my waffles in seconds. Watching him suddenly made me forget why I was angry with him. I couldn't even remember why I got mad.
There's something about him, but I don't know what it is.
