This imagine was requested by MazeRunnerFAN26 (my wonderful sister). "She comes up in the box with a sprained ankle but she doesn't want to show it because she doesn't want to show weakness infront of the guys. She becomes a runner but gets hurt worse and the guys end up finding out about it." Sit back, relax, and enjoy!

I was thrown into the maze at the tender age of 6. Lol I'm just kidding. Here, I'll tell you what really happened...

The box jerked under me and my hands squeezed the metal grates harder the faster it went. "Please, someone help me," I choked out. The fear that gripped me made it impossible to speak. I tried to stand but immediately fell back down my fear quickly morphing into pain. "What?" I couldn't see anything but I knew something was wrong. I couldn't stand on my left ankle without it hurting like heck. I prodded my ankle and realized that it didn't feel like a brake, which was relieving. It must be a sprain I concluded. I was searching through one of the crates for a flashlight and bandages when the box came to a jerking halt. I groaned when it jostled my ankle but quickly smothered the sound when the box began to open.

"Hello?" I called, wanting to get out of this box. "Anyone there?"

"Hi there, greenie," a boy called out from above me. He jumped into the box but as soon as he saw me he startled away. "What the shuck!" Murmurs erupted around us and a crowd peered over the edge of the box to see what was happening.

"What the heck are greenie and shuck?" I asked curiously. "Never mind," I quickly took back. "I can learn that later. Right now I just want out of here. Can you help me?"

"Sure, greenie," he replied looking hesitantly at me. "Put your foot in my hands and I'll boost you up."

"Thanks," I smiled at him. For a person with weird eyebrows, he sure is friendly.

"The nice man boosted me up and I was able to launch myself out of there with minimal pain. The landing was the toughest but I bit my tongue and held in my groan. I still needed to look at my ankle but I didn't want to in front of all the boys."

"Why mommy?"

"Why what, Sweetheart?"

"Why didn't you want to look in front of the boys?" Adele clarified.

"I was prideful and didn't want to seem weak," I answered. "Is that all you wanted to ask, Adele?"

"Yes mommy," She replied looking interested.

"Alright then.

"When I was sure there was no evidence of pain on my face I looked up and gasped. At least fifty sweaty boys, the one who helped me out of the box included, crowd around me. They looked at me with wide eyes and some even had their mouths open as if they had never seen a girl before."

Actually... I look around the boys quickly and with a sinking feeling, realize that they might not have seen a girl in a while.

Alright, time to take matters into my own hands. "Hello boys," I call out, wanting my voice to be heard. "Do you have any food in this place?"

They all smile when a different boy walks, no swaggers, up to me. "Hi, there. I'm Minho and I'll take you to the meadhall. But first, Alby wants to talk to you." He steps aside and an African American, who I assume is Alby, walks up to me.

"Greenie," he greets looking me up and down. "Do you remember anything?" He asks bluntly.

I open my mouth to make a snarky reply of 'duh' but pause. I frown realizing that I have absolutely no memory whatsoever. I get defensive when the boys start snickering.
