Four people's blood covered my hands as I helped people from the Triskelion, and many more joined it as people died in my arms.

I had managed to get from the elevator to the ground floor, where I was helping as best I could with my wounds to get people out of the building and into safety.

Every time I moved, pain like fire licked my torso and my left arm, and I knew if there was another fight to come, I wouldn't survive.

I did my best to fight off HYDRA agents as they came at us in droves, but I wasn't strong enough to do it by myself. Other agents with guns and weapons alike fought alongside me, helping others out and getting the wounded to safety. I barely heard the voices over my comms, with the noises of guns and yelling all around me. The three helicarriers loomed overhead, two locked and one to go. I knew Steve was aboard the larger one, Charlie, and that Bucky was aboard it too. It was too high up to see what was happening inside, but I prayed he was ok. I didnt know what I would do if he wasn't.

My mind was still buzzing with everything that had happened, and I couldnt get the image of Tim's soulless eyes out of my head. I didnt have time to cry, however, because I felt a zip, and a thunk, and my left leg collapsed under me.

As you may have guessed, I was shot again. Just my luck.

There was so much pain going on in my body right now that I almost didn't feel it, but the hot burning pain in my left thigh eventually became known to me as I tried to stand up.

I heard another gunshot, and as I looked up the HYDRA agent with his gun still pointing at me fell, and behind him was Sharon, her windswept hair and goddamn beautiful face perfect as always, even covered in dirt and blood. Her gun smoked a little, and she smiled grimly at me.

"Just repaying you," she said, jumping down from the step and looking me over.

"You dont look so good."

I shrugged.

"Yeah, I dont feel so good either," I muttered, my right arm now stemming the blood from my thigh, leaving my torso free to bleed again.

"You need to go. You need medical assistance," Sharon wrapped an arm around my shoulders and tried to steer me in the direction of the other wounded who were making their way to the city. I tried to push her away, but I didn't have the strength to do it.

"I need to fight, I cant leave them," I said, my breathing shallow. I gestured to the agents, even the desk ones, fighting HYDRA with whatever they could.

"If they're still fighting, then I have to too. I can't leave them, not while I can still save them." I felt my throat clog up, and I almost cried, thinking about the blood one my hands. It was all my fault, Tim's death and killing Jack, it was all me and the only way to atone for my sins was to save as many people as I could.

Sharon nodded, not quite understanding but willing to let me stay.

"Ok. Stay. But whatever happens to you, don't forget I warned you," She said, letting go of my arm and reloading her gun. "Lets kill these bastards."

I will never say this again, so Sharon, if you ever read this, don't ask me to repeat it;

Agent 13 was actually, really good. Like, exceptionally good, and I wouldnt be alive if it wasn't for her.

There, I said it. Dont expect to hear it again.

Slowly, but surely, there were less and less people coming at us, and less and less people to fight. I was down on energy, but I could still manage to hit a few HYDRA agents, thanks to my targeting system inbuilt in my contact lenses.
