Liz, Fez, Eric, Kelso and Hyde sat in the basement as Eric made a prank call to get revenge on a teacher for giving him a bad grade.
"Oh, no. Dick Tracy is trapped in a giant clam. Farewell, sweet Dick." Fez announced sadly as he read a comic in the newspaper. Liz and Hyde shared a look.
"A man being eaten by a giant clam. Now, I'm not Sigmund Freud, but..." Hyde started.
"Sweet Dick's getting buried deep, if you know what I mean." Liz added with a wink. Hyde laughed with her.
"Eric. The Omen's playing at the drive-in. You know what this means for us? It's make-out city." Kelso informed him seriously.
"I really like you as a friend, Kelso. Can I bring a girl?" Eric joked.
"Yeah. Man, it's gonna be great. Horror movies turn on chicks faster than porno." Kelso was excited.
"Really? Faster than that?" Hyde asked sarcastically.
"Yeah. If only somebody would make a porno horror movie." Kelso said.
"Well, then there'd be no stopping you." Eric joked.
Red came down to tell Fez that his host parents wanted him to go home.
"Kelso, stop saying 'porno.'" Red ordered as he walked back upstairs.
"I didn't say it, Mr. Forman. Fez did." Kelso lied and smiled at Fez.
"No, he didn't!" Liz called up to her father and glared at Kelso.
"You are a bitch." Fez insulted Kelso and then left.
"Just so you guys know, horror movies do not make girls horny faster than porn. Most of us are not turned on at all by horror movies." Liz informed them.
"But you are by porno?" Kelso asked.
"I mean... depends on what it is." Liz admitted.
"When have you seen porn?" Eric asked horrified.
"A time or two." Liz smirked.
"Nice." Hyde nodded with a smile.
"Well, you know, maybe your opinion would change if you were going to see The Omen at the drive-in." Kelso said confidently.
"I am." Liz stated.
"What? With who?" Eric asked.
"Collin. That's where he's taking me on our date." Liz answered nonchalantly. "Don't worry, Eric. Horror movies don't turn me on." Liz continued, standing up. "They just frighten me, so I must hold tight to the strong man beside me!" Liz dramatically hugged Hyde, the side of his face pressing into her breasts. Liz smirked at Eric's discomfort and walked upstairs.
Eric smacked Hyde on the arm.
"What was that for, man?" Hyde asked confused.
"You put your face in my sister's boobs!" Eric accused.
"No, I didn't! She grabbed me." Hyde argued.
"Well you didn't have to let her." Eric grumbled.
"I'd let her." Kelso added with a chuckle. Eric hit Kelso on one arm while Hyde punched the other.
Hyde really wouldn't mind being the guy beside Liz during a horror film. In fact, Hyde was starting to realize that he wouldn't mind being the guy beside Liz at any time.

While watching the movie, Liz confirmed she was right. She did not get turned on by horror movies. Although, she did get scared. At an extremely gory part in the movie, Liz yelped and scooted closer to Collin. He wrapped an arm around her.
Liz looked up at Collin as he looked down at her. He leaned in, and she let him kiss her. It was... disappointing. Liz didn't "feel" anything when his lips touched hers. Liz wondered if maybe she did it wrong.
After the movie, Collin took Liz home.
"Thanks for taking me to the movie, Collin. I enjoyed it." Liz thanked him.
"I'll call you for the next date?" Collin requested.
"Sure." Liz agreed. She wanted to give him a second chance; she hoped the lame kiss wasn't a bad omen.
Collin leaned in to kiss her again.
Liz gave it another go, but it was still a let down.
"Coming, mom!" Liz pulled back and yelled when Collin tried to deepen the kiss. "Sorry, my mom's calling me. See you later!" Liz excused herself, knowing her parents weren't home yet.
Liz ran into the basement and saw Hyde sitting there watching TV.
"How was your date?" Hyde asked her as she sat down.
"It was fine." Liz said simply.
"Just fine?" Hyde clarified.
"Yeah, well... he kissed me. Twice." Liz told him.
"And?" Hyde prodded her to continue.
"It was just a peck type of thing, but it wasn't very good." Liz admitted. Hyde laughed. "It's not funny! I think I did it wrong." Liz said timidly.
"Why do you think that?" Hyde asked her.
"I didn't feel anything that you're supposed to feel when you kiss someone you like." Liz explained.
"Well, maybe I could help you figure out where you went wrong." Hyde offered.
"Really? How?" Liz asked eagerly.
"Kiss me, and I'll tell you what to fix." Hyde suggested. Liz was speechless for a moment.
"You'd do that for me?" Liz asked.
"Yeah." Hyde shrugged.
"Okay." Liz turned toward Hyde. "Ready?" She asked him. Hyde nodded.
They both leaned in and touched their lips together. Liz could have sworn that fireworks erupted right there in her basement, and it felt like electricity surged through her.
Hyde placed his fingers in Liz's hair and rubbed his thumb on her cheek. Liz moved her hands into his curls, and the kiss deepened. Hyde ran his tongue along Liz's lip asking for entrance to her mouth. She gladly granted him access, letting his tongue dance with hers. Hyde pulled Liz close to him, and a warm feeling spread between her thighs.
They separated, both flushed and breathing heavily. Liz's heart was beating erratically.
"Wow." She said breathlessly as she turned away from Hyde and sat back against the couch.
"Yeah." Hyde said breathlessly as well.
They sat in silence for a moment, both processing what just happened.
"Um, well, I didn't notice anything wrong, so I guess I can't help with your problem." Hyde said.
"You helped. I know what's wrong now." Liz told him.
They looked at each other, the desire to kiss again evident in both of their eyes.
"Well, I'm going to bed now. Thanks for your help, Hyde." Liz jumped up and walked to the stairs.
"Good night, Lizzy." Hyde said.
"Good night, Steven." Liz replied.
Hyde laid his head back against the couch and exhaled loudly. He had found himself jealous that he couldn't claim Liz's first kiss, but what just happened had definitely made up for it. He was her first makeout.
He didn't know what Liz meant when she said she knew what was wrong though. Their kiss was amazing; Hyde couldn't imagine Liz did anything wrong when Collin kissed her.
The second Hyde's lips touched hers, Liz knew what was wrong about her kiss with Collin- it was that she was kissing Collin. She didn't feel anything because she didn't really like Collin. Liz wanted Hyde, now more than ever, but Hyde wanted Donna. Liz knew she couldn't compete with Donna, even if Donna didn't like Hyde back. Liz threw herself onto her bed in frustration.
