The gang was in the basement. Jackie, Kelso, Fez and Liz were watching TV while Donna, Eric and Hyde were decorating a tree.
"Man, the Grinch has a big butt." Donna pointed out. Liz sang along to the theme song- You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.
"Yes, nothing says Christmas like a big, green Grinch ass." Fez smiled.
"So, Formans, what are you two doing Christmas Eve?" Kelso asked them.
"Well, our parents are having the same, lame Christmas party they have every year. All the adults." Eric said.
"Eric only hates it because he always had to sing the high parts to Little Drummer Boy." Liz chuckled.
"Shut up, Liz." Eric shushed her. Liz stuck her tongue out at him.
Donna asked Eric and Hyde how the tree looked, and they both stared at her butt and said how great it looked. She told them to look at the ornaments on the tree. They complimented those as well, just not as enthusiastically. Liz rolled her eyes at Hyde.
"I just love Christmas. It's all about good tidings and cheer. And shopping." Jackie emphasized the last one.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's what Jesus was going for." Hyde said sarcastically. Liz chuckled and Hyde smiled at her. Liz just looked away from him.
"Hey, I give too. Every year, my friends and I deliver gift baskets to the unfortunate." Jackie informed.
"I think you mean less fortunate." Donna corrected.
"Okay, whatever, bums." Jackie said.
"Well, Jackie, that's actually kinda nice." Liz commended her. Jackie smiled at her, a smile that Liz returned. Hyde noticed and pouted.
"Oh what are you guys doing watching cartoons? Holiday Inn is on." Kitty rushed down the stairs and changed the channel. The song White Christmas was playing and Kitty tried to sing along with it. Liz stood up and waltzed around, singing the song with her mother.
"Eric, Liz, help me get the decorations." They followed Kitty to the back room in the basement.
"So, what're you getting Donna for Christmas?" Liz asked Eric.
"I was thinking the perfume White Shoulders. It's her favorite." Eric answered.
"Oh, that's perfect. And I can get you a discount at Macy's." Liz offered.
"Sweet!" Eric high-fived her.
Kitty handed Eric a box, and he handed it to Liz. As soon as it was in her hands, a giant rat jumped out of the box. Liz, Eric and Kitty ran from the room screaming. Kitty ran upstairs, Liz jumped onto the couch and Eric stood beside the tree, trying to catch his cool. Everyone looked at them confused.
"It was huge... and right there in my face... I almost touched it." Liz said horrified. Everyone else was still confused.
"We were going through a box of Christmas decorations, and we found the Christmas rat." Eric explained. Everyone nodded in understanding.

"So, Laurie, seeing anyone at college?" Kitty asked her older daughter.
"Oh, I like to date around." Laurie answered.
"Slut." Eric coughed to mask the insult. Liz elbowed him in the side. He held his side in pain.
"Bless you." Kitty said.
"Thanks, Mom. Hey, Dad, instead of being at your party this year I was thinking of throwing a party in the basement. I mean, I think I'm old enough." Eric attempted to sound confident with his request. Kitty laughed.
