Bad Boy ~ Lin Yanjun

A new school year

I can't believe the holiday is already over. It feels like the past month just flew by. Me and Yanjun arrived back at school yesterday and I have just been preparing myself to go back to school making sure I got all the supplies I need. Today school is starting again, we got new dorms and I am not in a room with Yeeun anymore, my new roommate I would be meeting today, hopefully she is an easygoing person so I it won't be awkward.

I walked through the halls and suddenly heard someone call my name. I turned around and saw Eric run at me. "Melisa! How are you? It's been too long I missed you!" Eric said as he locked his arm with mine. "I'm great! I missed you too Eric how was your holiday?" I said as we walked into class together. "It was great but the real question is, how was your holiday" he said as he smirked at me. I sat down on my table and felt that I was blushing. "It was fun, we had a lot of fun together" I said. "A lot of fun? What kind of fun?" He joked. "Shhh!" I said as I softly pushed him.

Class had ended and I headed down to the garden with Eric to have some food. I saw Yanjun and his friends sitting at the table as I sat down on mine. We smiled at each other as our eyes met. I saw Justin push Yanjun off the table towards me and I couldn't help but laugh at it. Yanjun approached me and I stood up and gave him a soft kiss. "How has your first day been?" I asked as I locked my arms around his neck. "Boring as usual, I got a new roommate but he's new so I don't know him" he said as he let out a sigh. "Eventhough Eric was boring at least I somewhat knew him this guy doesn't even seem to want to talk to me" he said. "You know I can hear you right" Eric said from behind me. I chuckled as I couldn't help but find the whole situation funny. "I still have to meet my new roommate, hopefully she is nice I don't want to end up with a Hyuna in my room" I chuckled.

I let go of Yanjun and grabbed my bag. "I'm going to see if she is already there, see you later" I said as I took off. I walked over the campus towards the dorm, I saw a lot of new faces and some familiar faces. This was me last year, I can't believe how quick the year went by. I looked to my left and saw the soccer team selection, the first years were trying to get into the school team eventhough that rarely actually happens. I suddenly felt someone bump into me really hard which made me fall back to the ground. "Look out where you are walking" I heard a voice say. "I'm sorry I was distracted" I said as I struggled up. I looked who I was talking to and saw a guy stand in front of me dusting off his pants. The guy looked at the soccer team and he lifted his eyebrow. "Do you want to join?" he asked. "Oh god no, I was just interested in seeing all the new faces" I said. "Oh so you're a pervert" he chuckled. "No! I am not are you crazy" I said as I walked past him.

Who was that guy and what is wrong with him. I walked into the dorm and unlocked the door. I saw a girl sitting on one of the beds unpacking her stuff. She noticed me and quickly got up and held out her hand. "Hi! Nice to meet you I am Tess" she said as I took her hand and shook it. "Nice to meet you too Tess, my name is Melisa" I said as I smiled friendly at her. "You're so pretty Melisa!" she said. "Aw thank you that is so nice of you, so are you!" I said as walked over to my bed. "Are you a first years?" I asked as I sat down. "Actually I am a second year transfer student" she said as she sat down again on her bed. "Oh really? Then we are in the same year"

"What happened to your pants Melisa?" Tess asked as she noticed the dirty spots on it. "I bumped into someone and sort of fell" I chuckled as I scratched my head. "Oh that was you?" she said. "Heh"

"My friend just texted me saying that there was some perverted girl who got his pants dirty" she chuckled. "Your friend?!?! And I am not perverted! He was just making weird assumptions!" I said trying to defend myself. "I know I know! My friend always says weird things like that don't worry about it" she laughed.

Me and Tess talked for a while and we happened to get along pretty well. She has some sort of 4d personality which makes it great talking to her, besides that she is also really friendly. We went out to get dinner together and talked about lots of things as we were eating our food. I saw the restaurant door open and watched Yanjun come in not noticing me at first. I called out for his name and he looked up surprised and finally noticed me. He grabbed a chair and joined us on the table and introduced himself to Tess. "So she is your new roommate?" he asked as he scanned her real quick. "Ohh are you her boyfriend?" she asked. I nodded as I intertwined my hand with Yanjun's. "Aww you two are so cute together" she said as she placed her hands on her cheeks. Yanjun ordered some food as well and joined us for dinner. After we finished we headed out and hung out a bit outside with the three of us. Tess and Yanjun got along pretty well so we had a good time with the three of us. I suddenly saw the guy from before walk towards us as he probably saw Tess sitting here with us. I looked away as if I didn't notice him as he stopped in front of us. "Ohh so the perverted girl really is your roommate" he chuckled as he sat down next to Tess. "The who now" Yanjun said with a bit of an annoyed face. "Ohh is this your girl Yanjun?" he suddenly said. "You two know each other?" I said as I switched looks between the two of them.

"This is the new roommate I told you about" Yanjun said. You got to be kidding me, no way I will ever enter Yanjun his room again. "Ahh I see" I replied. "What are you waiting for, introduce yourself to them" Tess said as she gave her friend a push. "You haven't introduced yourself to Yanjun yet?" I asked. "He just ignored me after I introduced myself to him and walked out" Yanjun said as he glared at him. Tess turned her look to her friend as she hit him on his shoulder, "what is wrong with you are you trying to make enemies" she nagged as he rubbed his arm. "I'm sorry okay, My name is Zhengting" he said. "Zhengting? What a name" I chuckled. "See this is why I don't say my name people make fun of it" he said with an annoyed tone. "I didn't make fun of it, it was just a joke" I said.

"Zhengting isn't exactly a really social person and doesn't make friends easily, that's why I joined him here when he said he had to transfer. As my friend I shouldn't just leave him alone like that" Tess said as she locked her arm with his. "I mean maybe he would make friends a bit easier if he wouldn't be so naggy and grumpy all the time" I chuckled. Zhengting glared at me and then switched his looks to Tess. "Well you're lucky to have someone like Tess to watch over you like that" I said as I leaned my back against Yanjun. "I know I am, I don't even know where I would be without her" he suddenly said. I saw Tess her cheeks heat up as I hold back my smile. "Well, I'm going to head back to the dorm now, Tess will you come too?" I asked. She nodded and got up. "Be nice to each other" me and Tess said as we left he guys alone. I winked at Yanjun before I turned around but Tess walked towards Zhengting and gave him a hug. "Just text me if you need anything okay?" she said.

We got back to the dorm and I couldn't help myself but to ask. "What is up between you and Zhengting?" I asked. "What do you mean?" She said. "Well, you seem to mom a bit over him, not like anything is wrong with that but it isn't something I see often or at all" I responded. She sighed and laid on her back on the bed. "You see, I am not really allowed to say much since he trusts me but he has had a bit of a difficult past and we know each other for a long time so I know everything about it and because of that I feel like the person he should come to if he is in trouble or feeling bad" she said. "Ahh I understand, well if you need any help with it sometimes don't feel afraid to ask me, it's not like me and Zhengting are great friends yet but I do want to give him a chance since he genuinely seems like a nice person" I said as I laid down as well. "I'm sure he would be happy to hear that" she said as she grabbed her phone and started texting.

The week went by pretty slowly as I had a slow start to the year. Me and Yanjun had dinner together almost every evening and once in a while Tess joined us but mostly she just hung out with Zhengting. Yanjun and Zhengting seemed to be in a bit of a love hate relationship but you could clearly see that they like each other eventhough neither wants to admit it.
