Bad Boy ~ Lin Yanjun

Back to school

Sadly it didn't take long or the vacation had already ended and all the students returned back to school. Classes would be starting again and I wouldn't get to see Yanjun as much anymore. I don't think anyone even knew that we are a couple and I honestly don't even know how I would bring it to Eric and Yeeun.

The first day of classes started and I met up with Eric in the hall. Okay you just have to say it, Eric I have a boyfriend, you can do it. "Hey Eric.." I said as I approached him. "Hey Melisa! How was your vacation?" he cheerfully said. "It was pretty good but a bit hectic how about yours?" I replied. "Actually quite boring to be honest" he chuckled.

"Ehh Eric.. can I talk to you after school?" I said as I looked down at my feet. "Yeah sure, why so serious though is something wrong?" he asked. I shook my head and told him not to worry just before we headed into class. Like that we had our usual couple of hours of classes before our break.

Me and Eric headed down to the school garden to have a talk. "So what did you want to tell me?" he asked. "Well.. I am not sure how to say it so I am just going to throw it at you"

"You're kind of scaring me Melis" he said as he sat down. "I.. have a boyfriend.." I quietly said. "..What..?", "I have a boyfriend!" I repeated. "Wow really? Congrats! Does he go to this school? What is his name?" he said all excited. "Don't get mad but.. it's Yanjun.."

He looked at me without saying a word as if he hadn't heard me. "I know! He is a troublemaker and a jerk most of the time but with me he is different.." I said. "Not from what I have heard, he used to pick on you all the time" he said as he crossed his arms. "I know that.. but he has really changed.." I said, I didn't want Eric to be against it, he is my friend and I don't want to cause trouble between us because of a boy. "Alright, I believe you, but if he makes a wrong move I will come for him" he said as he let out a sigh. A smile appeared on my face as I threw my arms around him and pulled him for a hug. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I said as I felt like I could have a cry right now.

I saw Yanjun enter the garden as well with Xukun and Justin as they sat down on their usual spot. I felt my heart beat race as I looked at Yanjun. "You really like him don't you" Eric chuckled. I gave him a soft push as I told him to not embarrass me like that. I wonder if he had already told Xukun and Justin about me, and what Xukun would think about it. From the corner of my eyes I saw Hyuna and her friends approach Yanjun his table for their regular flirting session. I fisted my hand as I felt a bit of jealousy come and got frustrated with the thought that I couldn't just jump in like that. "You should say something about it" Eric said as he looked at the table as well. "I want to but I can't.. you might be the only one who knows about it yet, I don't even know if Xukun and Justin know.. if I jump in right now it will be a total embarrassment and I don't want to do that to Yanjun or myself" I said.

Suddenly me and Yanjun's eyes met as we held our look for a moment but it then got interrupted by Hyuna pulling his arm. "We should hangout some time Yanjun! You promised me before remember!" she suddenly said. Promised her? What is she talking about. "It's true Yanjun you did promise her" Justin chuckled as he gave him a push. "It's so mean to make me wait like that!" Hyuna fake cried. That's it I've had enough, I got up and made my way out of the garden leaving Eric alone at the table. I know I shouldn't act this jealous but it just pains and annoys me to see all of this. I went to the spot behind the school and sat down on the bench. I rested my head on my hands as I was just staring in front of me. Clearly Justin and Xukun didn't know or they would have done something... ugh I hate this situation. I heard someone approach me from my left, "Melisa.." I heard Yanjun his voice say. "I promised her at the beginning of the school year, before I even really knew you" he tried to apologize. "Then just go with her" I said as I wanted to get up and walk away but he stopped me. "I told her that I can't because I am seeing someone else" he said as he held on to my arm. "You couldn't even tell her or Justin or Xukun that you're with me?" I said as I looked into his eyes. "I don't know how to bring it yet, especially with Xukun there I need to figure it out" he said.
