Under the stars

"Hello, beautiful" Jungkook walked up to you and kissed your cheek. You smiled shyly and he led you to his car. He opened the door for you and smiled, that was enough to make your heart fluttered. You got into the car and he went to the driver's seat after closing the door for you.

"I know it was a little bit too fast for me to ask you out on a date but I can't wait for long because I know anyone will make a move on you first" He chuckled. "It's okay Jungkook" You smiled at him.

"I don't know what you really want on a first date but I know you'll like this place" He smiled and glanced at you. You could not do anything but to melt in your seat.

"Wherever you take me, it'll be okay if it's with you Jungkook" You chuckled and lowered your head. He laughed and pressed his lips into a line. You bit your lip and took a deep breath, trying to calm your racing heart. You could not believe you just said that!

He stopped the car at a really dark place but as you went outside, you could feel the cold night breeze kissed your body. You hugged yourself and walked up to Jungkook.

"It's so dark here," You said as you were unsure about taking another step. Jungkook held your hand. "Don't worry, I'm here Y/N" He smiled and you smiled back.

As soon as the both of you took steps forward, the place went bright. You startled and hugged his arm. Your eyes wandered around. "Oh my gosh Jungkook" He smiled and pulled you towards the shore but you gasped and covered your mouth as you saw a setting like ten feet away from the shore.

The lights around the blanket that was spread out at the bottom made it look so romantic. A thermos and some sachet of instant hot drinks were placed beside a brown basket. You spotted a radio on top of a blanket. Jungkook sat beside you after he was done with the hot drinks.

He handed you a cup. You took a sip and put it down on a mini table beside the blanket. "I hope you're hungry" He smiled and pulled the brown basket towards him. You widened your eyes in surprise as he opened the basket. "Jungkook, I'm not a monster to eat all of that"

He laughed as he looked into the basket. "I just thought that if you didn't like sandwiches, I prepared cakes and even salad if you want," Jungkook took out the food that he mentioned to you one by one. Your jaw dropped as the salad was not the last food.

"And I even ordered pizza just in case you feel like eating one but if you're not that hungry, I brought some fruits too" You laughed and he lifted his head and looked at you.

"Jungkook, next time don't waste your money to buy all these food for me. I'll eat anything" You said and held his hand. He held your hand and pulled you closer.

"Eat me then" he smirked and bit his lip. Your heart was beating so fast. The cold breeze just now felt warmer on your skin. You froze near him and he chuckled.

"I'm just kidding Y/N" You smiled and backed away as he put all the food back in the basket. "I think I'll just have some of these strawberries," You said and took a handful of it.

Jungkook sat down beside you. The hot drinks were getting cold. He saw you were slightly trembling because of the cold wind. He went to grab the blanket and turn on the radio before he came back beside you.

The blanket was big enough to cover the both of you but closing the space between your body and Jungkook's you felt warmer. "Thanks" You smiled and he smiled back sweetly.

The chilly breeze that brushed against your skin made you felt a little bit sleepy. Jungkook glanced at you as you went silent all of a sudden. "You sleepy?" He asked as he saw your eyes were getting droopy.

"A little bit" You hugged your knees and buried your face on it. "Let's get you home" Jungkook was ready to get up but you held his hand. "Can we just stay here for a bit?" He smiled and nodded.

You laid down beside him but your eyes were still open. Jungkook smiled and laid his back. He pulled the blanket to cover the both of you. "The stars are beautiful," You said as you stare at the sky. He looked at you. "Yeah but nothing beats your beauty" You laughed and smiled shyly.

"Y/N" He called your name in a deep voice. You didn't look at him but instead, you hummed. "Hmm?" You raised your eyebrows. "Can we just stay like this until the sunrise up?"

He asked and you bit your lip. Thinking whether to stay or not. You thought about Jimin that left alone in the apartment. "Wait" You sat down and took your bag to find your phone to text Jimin but-

Shit. I left my phone in my room.

You put your bag aside and turned to Jungkook. You hesitated but you likely wanted to say no but his pouty lips made you changed your mind. "Okay" You smiled and his smile grew wider.

You laid back but Jungkook put his arm under your head as a pillow and pulled the blanket. The both of you silently stared at the night sky but you decided to break the silence.

"Jungkook" You called and he turned to you. "Do you ever been in love?" Your sudden question surprised him. He smiled. "Yeah, right now" You turned to him and laughed.

"I'm serious" You hit his chest softly and playfully. "And me too princess" he tugged your hair behind your ear and that time, you just realized that your face was an inch apart from him.

Your light brown eyes locked with his sparkly hazel eyes. He looked so perfect under the moonlight and those lips that were opened slightly apart, revealing half of his cute bunny teeth made your heart went crazy. It was like throwing a pebble into a calm lake but in this case, it was not a pebble. It was a huge ass stone.

You saw the corner of his lips lifted slightly as you broke the eye contact. He pulled you closer to him and wrapped his arms around you. You felt secured and safe that made you cuddled into him more.

He rubbed the back of your head as you buried your face into his chest. It was all quiet except for the sound of the water lapping the shore, you could hear his heartbeat.

It was normal compared to yours that was thumping so fast and that made you thought about something.

Did boys don't really flutter or nervous when they confessed?
