Theo POV

"I might be too strung out on compliments, Overdosed on confidence
Started not to give a fuck and stopped fearing the consequence—"

"Theo shut up, Collae isn't interested, don't go Drake right now now please," Don groaned.

"I don't know what went wrong man, I gave her a fucking ride, girls love that shit," I shook my head thinking about Collae. I usually do my one two flirt and thats it. I wouldn't even have to text first. I couldn't figure out why I kept thinking about her so much, she was mean, I'm not really into mean girls she was already giving me problems that didn't seem worth pursuing. She already had this image of me painted in her head, what would be the point in trying to get her to like me?

"Yeah I know if I was girl I would love that shit—" we both stared at each other and I smiled, "Hey! I ain't mean it like that!" He shouted throwing a basketball at me.

     "I didn't even say anything," I chuckled.

"Look, there she goes right there," he smirked and I turned around to see her. She was so sexy to me, the way her hips swayed made me think impure thoughts, her body was amazing and she had a pretty face. Did I have a crush on this girl? Who was a sophomore? Nah, I waved myself off. It was just physical attraction. Collae really wasn't my ideal type that I'd look out for but I found her beauty to be mesmerizing though, maybe I've been looking in the wrong places. She was mean though.

"I'm gonna bag her," I said assured of myself. Not sure why I was saying this knowing this girl is trouble but I couldn't help myself. I just had to get to know her.

"You sound pretty confident Theodore," Don chuckled, "But I still don't think you can fuck her and go."

     "We'll see," I slyly smile.

The next day in school around lunch, I found myself secretly looking for this girl more often in school now. I could feel it becoming a thing now. When I was in middle school I use to pretend I had to go talk to a teacher or something just to cross paths to wave at my middle school crush. Thats what this was starting to feel like.

"Yo, Tommy you see that girl over there?" I pointed at Collae. He nodded.

"Yeah...what about her?" He raised an eyebrow and I gave him a straight face, "Oh... the girl you're trying to get with, she's kinda bad." He gazed at her body and I'm not sure but a wave of irritation came to me. I wasn't really sure why his actions made me feel a little upset seeing that we were nothing to each other.

"Anyways," I snapped my finger in his face, "Throw a party and invite those girls over there, nothing crazy it can be small too." I pointed to what looked like Collae's small friend group.

"You do know I'm in trouble right? You throw the party," he tried to brush past me not really having much care towards my request. I looked at him like he had two heads.

"Tommy do you know my parents? Matter fact my family? They're insane, I could never have a party, please," I begged. I wasn't really sure what had got into me, it was like Collae was a prize that I had to have immediately. I was just saying a couple days ago I wouldn't try with a sophomore now look at me. I said a few things actually, I should stop trying to pursue this but clearly there was something wrong with me.

"Alright, alright, I'll see what I can do you brat," he stuck his tongue out at me, "But I really don't think this is a good look or idea for you, but hey its your life."

"Thank you," I dapped him and went about my day. His words logged into my head, I was second guessing this small party with her but it wasn't stronger than my need to know her.
