Theo POVIt was clear that I needed to shift my mind to something else other than Collae. She was uncomfortable with the fact that I was still a stranger to her but last night might've been the nicest she'd ever been to me over the course of the last few weeks. She left the party early because her and her friends had a ten thirty curfew. My parents didn't really ever give me a curfew due to restless nights I'd have with my siblings. My parents did worry about me for certain traits I have but I tried to work on myself each day.
We had a home basketball game today and I invited her and her friends. I didn't really like them that much, Kaitlyn had way too much energy and Layla just stared at me so yeah, I hoped she had some normal friends, but since my noticing of her it seemed that the gang was all with her.
"Enzo it's your turn to change Amalie!" I heard Ella yell outside my room down running the hallway, "I did it all day yesterday!"
"Non, toi! Balec,"(No, you do it, I don't care) Enzo yelled back at her, my mom decided she wanted us to be fluent in French, she was currently teaching Amalie and Adrian, Ella and Enzo are pretty good, they mostly just curse though.
"Do it, or I'm getting mom, dickhead," Why can't they ever stop fighting! Stomping to my door, I swung it open.
"Guys! Tais toi! Merde," I shouted and my mom came up the stairs stomping with a belt. Oh great.
"Je suis fatiguée!(I am tired) Please enough of this shit!" She shouted and I could feel a smile creeping on my lips, "That means you too Theodore!" My smile instantly flattened.
"What! But I'm trying to get them to be quiet!" I whined.
"Don't raise your voice at me! And you cursed at them! How many times do I have to tell you no fucking cursing? And that means all of you!" I wanted to say but you just did, but I could literally feel the steam coming off her red face.
"I will change Amalie for today, but Enzo and Ella, when I ask you guys to do one simple thing you do it! Got it?" They nodded, "Okay then, and get ready soon we're going to your brother's game!"
"Sophie what's with the yelling?" My dad walked up the stairs staring at all of us with a challenged look. He was so useless, he just be here.
"Ces foutus enfants, ils sont tellement fous, ils n'écoutent pas, je suis fatigué, je demande une chose et ils—"(These damn kids, they're so crazy, they don't listen, I'm tired, I ask one thing and they—")
"—Sweetheart you know I don't understand a word you're saying," he huffed.
"Baby... I'm just tired—Hey you're off today right?" My dad nodded slowly, "Good," my mom handed him the belt and started to walk down the stairs, "They're yours till Theo's game tonight." She threw up a piece sign. My dad stood at the top of the steps laughing.
"God I love your mom guys, and you guys, you never fail to put a smile on my face, such crazy children, speaking of kids, where's the little Tasmanian devil at?" We all shrugged.
"Could be anywhere," I chuckled.
"You ready for later? You're playing against Lincoln?" I nodded, "That's a tough team to beat they have a win streak right now, but you guys can break it plus Don is one hell of a player." Yeah, yeah I get it.
"I know, I just hope someone will be able to make it there," I sighed, I really wanted Collae to be there. Not realizing my siblings were still around.
"Aww, Theo has a crush," Ella teased and her sidekick Enzo laughed, no matter how much they fought they could never be mad at each other for too long. When they were babies they never stopped holding hands, until the day Enzo started eating Ella's hair.
"Oh shut up Ella, you have no room to talk, don't think I don't know about your crush on Jake," I teased back and her face turned red. "You know he's too old for you right?
"I do not!" She huffed and stomped off into her room.
"Look what you did you made her—ouch!" Enzo jumped up and I heard an evil laugh from behind him. Adrian...I better go back to my room while I can. After having twin siblings I definitely believe they can feel each other's emotions. Enzo and Ella always had a way of knowing if one or the other was okay or not.
" You poked my butt with a needle? Where'd you even get that!" Enzo snatched the needle from Adrian and Adrian spit at him. Yep, time for me to go.
"Hey Theo can you—" before my dad could finish I shut my door. Not today dad, not today.

"Go Eagles!" The crowd was shouting and heckling our rival team. Lincoln High and Jenkins High, always fought over who was the better school, had the hotter students, smarter students, athletic students, and games were our way to just scream at each other.
My coach signaled a 'T' and the ref blew his whistle. We all ran over tiredly. I used the time to search the stands, and no sign of Collae. I quickly put my head back in the huddle before my coaches noticed I looked through some of my teammates at the stands to see if I could find her once more.
"Guys! Don't blow this lead, end this third quarter strong! You got three minutes! And don't foul them, stay on them but stop taking your anger out on them, eh em, Donatai...I know they say some nasty things, but it's only because you're the best player in this county."
"I know, sorry coach,"Don apologized . The other team and school heckles us so much, but Don can get dirty if he wanted to. You'll never see him getting upset outside of basketball though.
"Now Theo, your assist are great, but take some chances, you're missing out on making some great shots, and Harr— Theo are you listening? Theo!" I stopped searching in the stands, frowning, I shook my head.
"Y-yea sorry coach, got it," I don't know what he just told me to do so I'm gonna wing it. I'm not going to lie, my head was not in the game, all I was doing was hoping Collae would be here. If I kept this up coach will take me out and I cant have that so I tried to shake my thoughts of her out.
The whistle blew and we were back on the court, playing defense, I stayed on my guy, but than I saw her, she was walking on the sidelines with some different friends than before, Kaitlyn was still with her, that must be her best friend, I thought to myself, no Layla though.
"Silva! Stay on him! What are you doing!" Snapping out of my trance, feeling like showing off, I smirked. The ball was being passed to my guy, I stole it and went into turn over, I drove to the hoop and a guy tried to block my layup but I still made it, him falling back in the process.
"And one!" The crowd shouted and stomped on the bleachers. I did a little dance and dapped up some teammates. Running back I looked over my shoulder at Collae and winked, she smiled and looked down. With that I started to feel like myself again running up and down that court.
"Nice! Harrison stay in position!"
