After dinner, the team 'Save Lucy' gang gathered into Blythe and I's dorm room.
We all took our places on our designated beds before I released a long breath.
"So?" Marina edges, her eyes were wide and she looked no better than she did yesterday. Seeing her dishevelled appearance at the loss of her sister made my heart pull.
"I visited Belle. She said that she can see visions or something along those lines, she also said that she thinks Lucy is alive" I could hear a visible breath escape from the group.
"Thank God"Damien whispers.
"She also told me that there's some sort of secret tunnel system built underneath the school? Have you guys heard anything about that?" I ask to all of them.
Blythe cocked her head, "I have actually. I didn't actually think that it was still accessible, it was blocked off after the civil war ended and Thornhill became an actual school" She explains, "There must be an entrance around here" She nodded.
"I think so too, it would explain a lot of things that's been happening around here. The notes, the cat, and now Lucy. Somebody could be getting in through the tunnel system-"
"Wait a minute" Damien says, "Have we agreed that this is James Westley? Why would he kidnap our best friend first of all?"
"I had a conference call with the Council after first period this morning" I told them.
Blythe's eyes popped out, "You're on the Council now? Holy crap As'" She said incredulously.
"Queen Serene" Damien mused.
"Don't call me that" I hushed him.
Marina shook her head, "So- what does this mean? What happened at the conference call?" She asked. Desiree, who was seated next to her on the floor, started to rub Marina's arm comfortingly.
"Noah Tyress was found dead last night" I said.
Damien was the first to react, "The warlock?" He gasps, I nod in answer.
"They think it's the Circle because it happened on a full moon. Apparently the last time, at the Silver War, they made these sacrifices to draw power from their victims bodies and it's somehow stronger on a full moon. They need a sacrifice from each species" I explain.
"So Johanna Watson?" Desiree asks.
"She was a sacrifice we think"
"This is crazy" Blythe breathes, leaning back and hitting her back on the wall, "There's going to be another war then?"
