It was about six thirty when I had entered the dining hall for dinner.

I didn't make it to first period this morning due to my little bedroom rendezvous with Dakota, but for the first time in awhile, I had the feeling of walking on a cloud. Kota and I were doing well, for the most part- I mean I still don't know that much about him, but we both acknowledge that there must be something between us.

My beloved. It was strange, to think that I would be stuck with this one person for the rest of my life but at the same time I was excited for the future and what was to come, I was excited to spend my life for him. It didn't make sense to the rational parts of me but right now, it's all I could think about. Being with him, touching him, kissing him. I shook my head, God I needed some sort of life.

I spotted Damian's pastel pink coloured head before the rest of them, and I soon waltzed over to our usual spot and plopped down in an empty seat between him and Lucy.

"Someone's happy" Blythe notes, looking at my demeanour and rolling her eyes, popping a piece of meatloaf- or what looked like meatloaf- into her mouth.

"What's on the menu today?" I asked, looking around at everyone's plates. I felt hungrier than normal, and it could be due to missing breakfast this morning- something I didn't do very often. Damien shrugged, "Meatloaf, but there's potato wedges and a bunch of other salad stuff" He says simply. I nod, mumbling a 'be right back' before slipping out of my seat and going up to the buffet at the head of the dining hall.

Hazel Fleming was opposite me in the buffet table, she held a plate in front of her and piling on a piece of meatloaf. When she caught my eye she gave me an annoyed look, "What do you want blondie?" She muttered, stabbing a piece of loaf.

"Nothing, I didn't say anything" I said, as I grabbed a plate and started to pile on some dinner.

I took a scarce amount and snatched a bread roll before making a beeline for the usual table. I wasn't in the mood for a Monday brawl showdown with Hazel at the moment, and now that Kota and I had something going on, there was no doubt that Hazel would be the first one to intervene. She would have her werewolf fire breathing down my back the minute I could say beloved, not that she would care anyhow, she probably didn't know what it mean't. Then again, most people in this school seem to know more about me and my people before I even did.

"So I looked her up and down then I say, what're you looking at?" Marina burst into obnoxious laughter just as I sat down again.

"I heard Belle Ricard is getting better" Blythe interrupts, suddenly changing the topic.

"That's just awful what happened to her" Lucy murmurs innocently, her eyes widening with sadness before going to take another bite out of her potato wedge. "I guess Thornhill isn't as safe as we all thought" She said.
