"MOMMY!"
I can hear her running down the steps to get to the basement I'm in,
"Ari! Baby! Are you okay?!"
I hide behind the unpacked boxes, crossing my fingers she doesn't see me,
"Ari! Baby! Where are you?!"
I watch as she looks around the room, I watch as her back is turned towards me, and I go for it,
"Boo!" I jump on her back,
"Aria! Oh honey I thought you were hurt!" She clings on to me and gives me a piggy back ride up the steps,
I squeal and giggle as we run around the living room and kitchen, past all the unpacked boxes, mommy laughs along with me.
We're sitting in the back porch, drinking ice teas, I have a sippy cup with Minnie Mouse and Micky mouse on the front,
"Tara, where are you?!"
"Uh oh, mommy in trouble!"
She looks at me, and puts her glass down,
"Sh Ari, let's go hide from daddy"
She gives me a smile and grabs my hand, I giggle and mommy tells me to be quiet,
I see daddy come on the porch, we're behind the big sycamore tree, that's in front of the forest,
"Aria! Tara! Where are you girls?!"
I giggle some more,
I take a peak and I see daddy look right at me, I squeal and giggle as I run with mommy towards the front of the house, with daddy trailing behind us laughing
Daddy catches up to me, I laugh as he grabs me, and try to squirm out of his grip,
"nooooo" I laugh
"okay, I'll let you go if you help me find mommy"
"okay, okay!"
I walk along the front yard,
"mommy! where are you? I got away from daddy!"
I hear mommy and daddy laughing inside the house, I run in,
"Sweety, Mommy is going to the store want to go with her?"
"Yes! Yes!"
"Alright baby, let's go"
"Star light, star bright"
Mommy is driving
"First star I see tonight"
Mommy sings with me
"I wish I may, I wish I might"
Mommy turns to look at me
"Have the wish I wish to-"
All I see are bright lights, i finish the rest of the poem, "have the wish I wish tonight," I watch the bright light, I wish the pain was gone,
Mommy looks bad, really bad
"Mommy, I'm hurting"
*************************************
Daddy puts me in a black dress,
"Daddy when can I see mommy again?"
"Soon baby, soon"
