Can You Save Me? [Complete]

Chapter 1: A Normal Day...Kinda

    (This story begins at the same time as the anime, so Deku is currently attending middle school)

     It was a normal day, with normal weather, I was going through the same normal tunnel, heading from my normal middle school, laughing like All Might LIKE NORMAL!!! The only thing that felt off was the vibe of the place, I swore that someone or something was in there with me but when I turned around there was nothing... I turned back and started walking faster, but obviously that didn't work. (Cause this ain't a movie) The next I knew there was muck all around me. It was a weird and dirty translucent green color, and it had a jelly-type consistency to it. Anyway, the thing encircled me and started shoving itself up my nose and mouth. I couldn't breath! I desperately grabbed the thing trying to get free, but all I heard was clinical laughter. "Bahahahah, what are you going to accomplish by doing that? I'm fluid so there is no way you can pull me off!" I continued to grab and pull, but it wasn't working and he kept laughing. My vision was getting dark around the edges and I could feel the burning hot trial of tears on my cheeks. 'This is it, I'm gonna die here.' Just before I fainted, I heard the all too familiar sound of laughter followed by the words, "Its all right young man, I am here."

     When I woke up, I was on some random street, surrounded by cherry blossom trees in full bloom. I slowly sat up on my knees and saw a huge man in front of me. He slowly turned around and flashed me a smile that only a hero can create. My jaw slowly fell open and I was unable to close it. "Y-you, you're All M-Might!" My favorite hero, my role model, my inspiration was standing right in front of me! I quickly scrambled around to grab my notebook to get his autograph, but to my surprise he already signed it! I got to feet and started bowing profusely, "Thank you so much! This is a national treasure! A new family heirloom!" He chuckled and gave me a thumbs up, "Ok, young man! But I really must be on my way," he said as he tapped his pocket, which had the villain in it, "See you around."

     He got in position to jump, but was I really going to stand back and watch my inspiration disappear? No, I wasn't! I quickly ran and held on to his back just as he jumped into the air. I don't think he noticed because he kept leaping like normal. [Have ya'll been on X2 or heard of it? Imagine Deku on the ride and you will know what he looked like here. Or you could just watch the anime.] I heard a sigh followed by, "Keep your mouth shut or bugs are gonna fly in." Too late, a bug already flew in. Gross, I hate those creepy crawly little prices of-, my thoughts were abruptly cut off by All Might landing on a roof.

     It had been a good thirty seconds and I was still clinging on to All Might for dear life. He may be a hero, but he just put me through the most petrifying experience of my life! Well, maybe just maybe, it was my fault... BUT there's a very small chance of that being true sooooo. "Young man...?" All Might asked. "Young man, you need to get off now." I was too stunned to move. I heard a huge sigh and he literally had to peel me from his back. "It was nice to meet you young man, but I really must be on my way." He was about to leave again, but something in me just snapped, I couldn't control what came out of my mouth.
"WAIT! I wanna ask you something," I screamed.

"What is it young man?" He asked reluctantly.

I took a deep breath and, "C-can I still be hero? Can I be a hero even if I'm quirk-less?" I knew it was a lie, I KNEW it was a lie but I had a point to prove. I may not be quirk-less but I damn well know how it feels, I'm gonna become a hero to fight for equality. People need to treat everyone with respect and if no current hero can accomplish that, I will.

He paused for a moment and slowly faced me, "What kind of question is that?"

"Oh," my heart sank a little, afraid of what he really meant.

He then gave me his signature smile and said, "Of course you can, young man. In fact, I will help you become a hero."

"W-what do you mean?"

"Tomorrow night, Fugurachi Beach, [Just made that up btw] at nine."

"....."

"Meet me there, I'll let you in on a little secret."

     With those final words he leaped off the building to God knows where, leaving me in absolute shock. What the hell just happened? I stumbled home, bumping into everything and everyone that came in my path. I'm sure I walked in to Ka-Chan as well cause all I heard was, "Stupid fucking Deku! Watch where the hell you are going !" Ahhh Ka-Chan, no matter how much you bully me, I still love you. I don't think it's possible for me to hate you.

     I finally got home, after like an hour of mindless walking, only to be greeted by a very frantic mother.

"Izuku, where have you been? I've been worried sick! You have a phone, the least you could do is answer your mother."

"Sorry mom," I mumbled.

"Ugh, its fine, just don't do it again."

"I won't."

"Anyway, how was your day?"

"It was a normal day... Kinda." [Yes, I purposely made Deku's response the name of the chapter.]

     With that, I walked into my room and finally reflected on today's events. I'm still not sure if I imagined the whole thing. It's too good to be true. But I'll find out tomorrow at the beach.
