(Calum's POV)

Hannah's last week in hospital passed very quickly and I felt like things were getting good again as Amber and I visited her every day, and, finally, walked her home the last day.

I guess it helped her, she's different now. I gave a second chance to our friendship, but I'm not very sure about it.

I'm very worried because she gives me this weird feeling. I'm scared to fall in love with her again. It would be wrong. It wouldn't be fair. Specially to Amber.

-

A welcome back lunch with Hanns myb? :) Amber texted me.

Sure xx I typed. Can the lads come too?

Of course! She quickly replied. Meet us at that restaurant down the street in an hour.

-

"Hello." Amber smiled as we joined them at the table in the corner.

"Hey." I said placing a small kiss.

Then everyone ordered something, and we were all in a good mood, including Hannah, what made me happy.

The guys started questioning her, from simple 'how are yous' to other complicated questions and I hoped they wouldn't say something wrong.

"Don't you feel this rehab thing marked you forever?" Michael asked and my eyes widened.

"Michael!" I shouted.

I expected the other guys to be on my side, but they just stayed in silence giving Hannah and each other weird looks like it was something they wanted to ask her too.

"Excuse me." Hannah's voice cracked and she ran to the bathroom.

"I'm sorry." Michael whispered while we were all looking each other.

"I'm back soon." I stood up and ran to Hannah.

"Calum, leave." Hannah said covering her face.

"It's okay. Don't listen to Mike." I leaned on the wall next to her.

"He's right. I am marked forever. But I can't change it." She was close to tears. "Don't think it didn't help. It did. I just need some time to get back to my normal life."

"I know, I know..." I hugged her.

Damn, that feeling again.

"Cal?" She chuckled.

"Yeah?" I said.

"You're in the girls bathroom."

I laughed. "See what I do for you? C'mon, let's go!"

"Is all okay?" Amber knocked.

"Yes." I said.

And we directed ourselves back to our table.

-

After finishing our meal, we left the restaurant for a rehearsal. It wasn't really far so we decided to walk.

"Just asking... why did you run like that after Hannah?" Mikey asked.

"Like that? I was worried, she's my best friend and..." I said but Luke cut me off.

"Whoa! Best friend? I thought she hated you."

"Don't make a mistake, Calum. Amber loves you very much and you know that, don't you?" Ashton said.

"I do." I said.

They were right. But at the same time I couldn't stop thinking about Hannah.

What if that stupid backstage conversation never happened? Things would be very different now.

Ugh. I need that feeling to calm down.
