The next day, Julian was determined to talk to Presnel. He had to get things straight once for all, even thought he wasn't sure to be okay if Presnel rejected him.

However, he had forgot that being alone with someone during training was complicated, but it was almost impossible during the press days. Between the interviews and the pictures, they were always in a different group. They only saw each other during lunch, but...with the rest of the team. It was impossible to talk to him. And today, Presnel decided that Kylian was his best friend, and they have been laughing since ten minutes about a joke that Julian did not understand.

"Why are laughing like hyenas?" Meunier asked while sitting next to the German player.

Presnel answered but he was laughing so much that Julian did not understand a thing.

"Yeah, okay," Thomas shook his head, blasé. "How long have you kept up with them, Ju?"

"Since I sighed here," he smiled, and Thomas laughed. Presnel suddenly raised his head, frowning.

"Hey, that was mean!"

"No, it is just just the truth," he said with a smirk, and Presnel crossed his arms.

"That's a lie."

"And I am the baby of the team," Kylian shook his head. "Your bf's laughing at you, stop pouting."

Julian raised his head and looked at Kylian, surprised to hear him say "bf" to talk about him. But he didn't seem to know anything. After all, it might just be "best friend."

Presnel kept pouting until Giovani offered him to eat his dessert, and at the end, everybody was talking as if nothing happened.

But not in Julian's mind, who regretted not only not to have talked to Presnel, but also to have vexed him.
