I don't know why this Calum thinks he can just.... Start talking to me.

Science class was.... Okay. I guess.
For some reason Calum kept popping into my head... I was just thinking about how Mr. T said we 'should get to know our partners' and I don't think I really want to get to know Calum. He seems kind of annoying and... I don't know. Like when he commented about my tattoo, I literally just met the kid, I haven't even known him for 10 minutes and he starts talking about my tattoo. No thanks. But then again, I basically hate everyone that I don't know well.
The bell finally rings.
Hallelujah! Science is over.
Science is my least favorite subject and it doesn't help that I literally know NO ONE in that class. Science is the class with the most partner work and I literally know not a single person. And it's the period right before lunch so I find myself checking the clock about every 3 minutes. That class feels like its 2 hours long. But on the bright side, Sarah is in my lunch period. Along with a few other people I like.
I walk into the cafeteria scanning the sea of teenagers trying to pick out Sarah. We sit in the back with other kids but I only like about 4 people at the table including Sarah. Ashley, a taller, chunkier girl with platinum blonde hair sits across from Sarah. Ashley's really nice although sometimes she gets on my nerves. Becca sits next to Sarah. Becca has brown hair dyed hot pink at the ends. And the last person that I actually like out of our whole table is Sean. He's tall and lanky, with blue blue BLUEEE eyes and practically black hair. Our whole table is filled and I know a solid 90% of them but I don't like any of them. The rest all look like wanna-be's.
I plop myself down next to Sean. One of then must of saved me a seat. Becca is across from me. Sarah switches seats with Becca so she's across from me now.
"HIIII" she spits out at me.
"Well what got you in such a good mood?" I ask.
"I actually don't know" she says unconvincingly.
We continue on with our conversation. She had to cancel our plans tonight because her parents are forcing her to go to her little brothers basketball game. I can't help but notice that she's in the best mood she's been in since school started.
"Okay so what is up with you today?" I ask.
"Okay," She starts. "Come with me. I've been dying to tell you something"
She drags me up from my seat and we start out of the cafeteria.
"Um where are you tak-" I start.
"Shh a sec" she interrupts.
She looks both ways down the hallway and quickly shoves me through a pair of doors I've never used. They lead us outside. We start heading off towards the football field. There's a little hang out spot with big trees next to the bleachers so that's where I assume we're going.
"Sarah what th-"
"OKAY." She says.
"Um why are we c-"
"It's lunch. It doesn't matter if we cut lunch." She answers my question before I even ask it.
This isn't new to me. This is my 4th time cutting class this year so far (and it's only the first week of school) but lunch isn't really an actual class so...
"I know but what do you have to tell me that's so important that we have to leave?" I ask
"Oh well it's not that important but it was just really loud in there and I didn't want to have to yell it" she replies.
"Okay.... So?" I say.
"You know Sean?" She says.
"Well of course I know Sean. I've known him for almost 3 years now Sarah. And so have you." I reply.
"Ya I know it wasn't a legitimate question" she says laughing a bit.
"Okay. So. I decided a few days ago that I like him." She says smiling a rare wide smile.
"OH MY GOSHHH!!" I say excitedly because last time either of us had a crush was probably around.... 5th grade. "THIS IS IMPORTANT"
"I KNOW" she exclaims.
I can see why she likes him. He's got nice hair, beautiful eyes, tall, but I wouldn't be crushing on him. I don't really have crushes anymore.
"HE'S ABSOLUTELY PERFECT" she says happily.
"Hahaha I can see he makes you really happy Sarah" I say. Making me smile on the inside. It's nice to see her so happy and excited.
"THERES MORE" she starts, still sounding like she just found out she won the lottery. "So you know we're obviously good friends"
"Yeah.. I'm pretty close with him myself." I say
"Ya so we were hanging out about 5 days ago because he went to his brothers basketball game and his brother is on my brothers team. So I saw him and we were hanging out during it. We were walking outside the school just around on the grass when all the sudden he just holds my hand." She's smiling ear to ear.
"OHMYGOD" I exclaim. Feeling excited too, but upset at the same time because... Things like that... Never (or will probably ever) happen to me. How does she do it.
"SO HE LIKES YOU?" I say.
"IM NOT DONE" she says. "We continued walking like nothing even happened. Then we start heading back to the school because we both knew the game was going to end soon. We sat on the blacktop leaning up against the school. Still talking. And he just quietly goes "Sarah... I don't wanna mess things up. Between us. Our friendship." And I was just like "Okay...." Knowing there was more. Then he just paused for like 10 seconds and goes "I think you're really beautiful" She finishes.
"OMFG SARAH" I practically yell because I'm so happy. "THATS AMAZING OH MY GOSH IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU"
We start heading back to the school while Sarah finishes her story. That all happened on a Friday night so over the weekend they were texting and stuff and today he hugged her but she's still confused if they're really dating or not.
We walk back into school then who do I walk right into because I'm looking down? Calum. He just walked out of the boys bathroom.
"Oh hey Lynn!" He says
"Um who's your friend here Lynn?" Sarah whispers to me and nudges me with her elbow.
"Hi Calum" I say. When all the sudden another kid walks out of the bathroom and (playfully) hits Calum's arm.
"Oh Lynn and I are partners fo-" I begin to hear Calum say to Sarah. When I look at his friends face.
Oh my lord. I say in my head. I'm now saying about every cuss word that exists. In my head. This is the most beautiful human being I've ever seen. I'm totally blanking out looking at him when I here Sarah loudly say "We were just outside" she stomps on my foot, I guess she noticed me blanking out. I snap out of it, breaking my stare off of Calum's friend. Calum must of asked where we just came from.
Then he speaks. Calum's friend. His voice is deep and sexy and I can't help but keep staring into his eyes.
"I'm Michael" he says.
