I wake up at 6:15 by my obnoxious alarm clock. I go downstairs and am greeted by my mom putting the dishes away.
"Good morning sweetie" she says.
"Hi"
I continue to eat my breakfast not saying another word. I still haven't gotten any texts from any of the boys. I put my empty bowl in the sink and head upstairs to throw on a sweatshirt and some leggings.
"Bye Lynn!" I hear from downstairs then the door closing.
When I'm finished getting dressed I go downstairs to put on my shoes and see the keys on the table. I grab them and my bag and head out the door. Still in the driveway, I get a text from Sarah:
"Not coming to school today I think I'm sick :/ sorry for leaving you with all those annoying people :p"

"Alright class please take out the rough draft sheet for your project I said was due today" Mr.T says.
Oh gosh, Calum isn't here and he was having some other kid do our project.
As if reading my mind Calum strolls into the room, two papers in his hands.
"Yes please, take your time Mr. Hood the class hours don't apply to you of course" Mr.T sarcastically says to Calum. Calum just rolls his eyes and finds his seat next to me. He puts one paper on my desk, the rough draft. "I was late because I was actually getting these from Andrew, he's almost done with our project" he smiles. He takes out his phone, unlocks it, and slides it over to me, "Can you put your number in? I went to text you Saturday and realized I didn't have your number" he softly laughs.
I feel relieved. I don't why... maybe because this friendship could actually grow into best friends? Because he actually didn't forget about me? I don't know but I know I really like him and the boys, and Katie, and even Hazel. And I wanted to spend a lot more time with them. I take his phone and put my contact name and number. It saves, and I smile sliding his phone back to him.

When the bell finally rings, Calum walks with me to my next class as usual.
"So how was your 'ladies night' with Katie and Hazel on Friday?" He asks.
"Really good actually, we saw Divergent" I reply.
"Ooh I saw that with Luke. LOVED IT!" He says in a high pitched girl voice. "Can't wait for the second one"
"Me too, I hear it's coming out sometime in May"
"Ya... way too long" he replies. We reach my room and exchange our goodbyes.

Since Sarah isn't here I just go sit with the boys at lunch.
"So any plans for the 3 day weekend Lynn?" Luke asks.
"Actually my parents are having a barbecue with some friends and stuff and I wanted to ask you guys if you wanted to come? It's Sunday night."
"Oh..." Calum starts. "Actually when we have longer off from school me and the guys plus Kate usually go out camping near my dad's house and we were going to invite you"
"Oh" I pleasantly smile. My parents aren't strict at all so I don't think they would have a problem with me going. "Where is it?" I ask.
"About an hour away" Luke answers.
"Ok sounds fun, I'll double check with my mom tonight, I've also never actually been camping"
Michael gasps, "WHAT?"
"Lynn you shall be enlightened" Calum says. Luke nods.
"We all have our own tents but we were gonna go Friday to get a new one for Michael because he's a spazz and broke his. Since you've never been camping I'm guessing you don't have a tent so you wanna come too?" Luke asks.
"Sure" I agree.

I get a text from Sarah during 9th period, "LYNN LYNN EMERGENCY. CALL ME A.S.A.P." Oh gosh. I text back, "WHATS WRONG? IM STILL IN 9TH PERIOD"
"OK FINE CALL ME WHEN YOU GET HOME"

"Hello?" Sarah answers after the second ring.
"Hey it's me" I answer.
"HE'S A LIAR." She blurts out. "I HATE HIM I HATE HIM I H A T E HIM."
"Um.... mind telling me what's going on?" I calmly ask.
"SEAN."
What...? I don't understand I thought he was totally in love with her.
"WAIT WHAT? WHAT HAPPENED?" I find my voice louder.
"So you know how I said I wasn't feeling good?" she starts,
"Ya?"
"So I took a walk into town to get some fresh air and food and I see none other thEN SEAN FREAKING PIALCE SITTING BY THE WATER FOUNTAIN HOLDING SOME OTHER GIRLS HAND"
"Okay okay, calm down. Are you 100% it was him?" I clarify.
"I literally walked 4 feet away from him but he was so BLINDED BY THIS GIRL TO NOTICE"
"Did you recognize her?" I ask.
"Nope. I've met all his cousins and stuff so it's not something weird like that. He's. A. Cheater."
"I'll get him back I swear if it's the last thing I do" I say. I was kinda hoping they would work out though... he made her so happy. "Do you know how you're gonna break up with him?"
"Oh, I KNOW"

"Lynn!! Alex!!!!" my mom calls from downstairs, "DINNER"
We both hurry down the stairs and find our seats.
"So I asked the guys if they wanted to come to the barbecue" I start,
''And?" my mom says.
"Well they were actually planning on going camping by Calum's dad's house, and they invited me. It's like an hour away and we are all sleeping in our own tents"
"Hmhh..." my Dad mumbles while chewing. "I think I would just like to meet these boys before I feel 100% okay with you going" he says.
"Good idea. Otherwise I'm fine with it" My mom agrees.
"Wow Lynn since when did u have more than 3 friends" Alex says.
"Watch it Alex." I give him a dirty look. He turns his head down to look at his food.
"Okay I'll have them come over Friday or something." I say to my dad.

"Hiii what day did u guys wanna leave to go camping?" I text Calum.
He replies about 5 minutes later:
"We were gonna head out Sunday morning and head back Monday afternoon-ish. We would leave Saturday but Luke has some weird family thing or something"
"Kk. My dad just wanted to meet you guys so do you wanna come over Friday after school?" I ask.
"Sounds great :)" he replies.
