I go into my room to get in pajamas and do some homework and start texting Sarah about everything.

I wake up the next morning by my obnoxious alarm clock. As I get ready I can't help but keep thinking about yesterday. It was really fun and I hope we all hang out again soon.
My parents are both still sleeping and Alex doesn't leave for school until after me so he's asleep also. I hear my moms alarm go off and within about 15 minutes she comes downstairs dressed in her fancy work clothes with her hair neatly pinned back.
"Good morning sweetie." She smiles.
"Morning." I reply. I'm not a morning person and she knows that. So with that the conversation ends.

"Can I take the car today?" I ask as I'm about to go upstairs.
"What's wrong with the bus?" She replies.
"Ugh mom it's just horrible. Please?" I say.
"Fine." She takes a pair of keys out of a drawer and sets them down behind her. "Keys are on the table. I gotta get going. Bye, love you." She kisses me on the forehead and then rushes out the door.
I grab the keys and go back into my room to get dressed. I personally (unlike many girls my age) don't care what people at school think of me so I throw on a baggy black shirt with some distressed dark jeans. Then I go into the bathroom quietly trying not to wake Alex because he'll just annoy me until I leave. I brush my teeth and put on just the necessary make-up. My hair is a mess as usual so I try to brush it out but eventually give up and end up putting it in a messy bun. I slide my converse on and grab my bag, keys, and phone and head out to the car.
The car ride is long but pleasant with me blasting the radio and singing loudly. I pull into the school parking lot and do my best to find a close spot so I don't have to walk much. I see Sarah after I go to my locker and we stop for a minute to chat but both of us go our separate ways to 1st period. Where I would soon see Calum again.
We happen to walk in at the same time.
"Oh hey Lynn" he seems perky.
"Hey" I respond but we get interrupted by the bell and Mr T.
"EVERYONE TAKE YOUR SEATS." He says. I go to where I've been siting since school started but this time Calum's next to me. We have some non-awkward small talk throughout class but he doesn't mention hanging out again.

Calum walks with me to science. Science goes by painfully slow as usual.
I see Becca on my way to lunch so we walk together when I feel a tap on my shoulder. It was Luke. Calum on his left side and Michael next to Calum.
"Hey!" Luke says.
"Hi" I reply.
"So um do you wanna come sit with us? if you want. I mean I know you have other friends probably wanting to sit with y-"
I cut him off. "Sure!" I gladly accept the offer with a smile.
Becca looks kinda puzzled because we've never really made friends with anyone outside our little 'clique' and I assume she already knows we're friends because why else would we have had that conversation.
"Oh sorry, this is Becca" I say. She looks up from her phone not saying anything.
"Becca this is," before I can introduce them Calum goes, "hi I'm Calum, this is Michael" he says pointing to Michael. "And I'm Luke" Luke finishes.
