Saturday Morning 10:30:
"How much did you pack?" I text Katie, she replies a couple minutes later:
"1 Pair of pjs, 1 bathing suit that I'm probably just going to wear under my clothes (bc where we usually go theres a big pond lake thingy), I'm just bringing the shoes on my feet, hair brush, tooth brush, 1 shirt, 1pair of shorts, 4 pairs of underwear, 2 bras, andddd uh idk I'll prob bring some more when I remember what I want to pack hhahaha"
"kk thanks XD so exciteddd"
"Same omg they said we were heading out in the afternoon right?"
"Yup"
"Omg only a couple more hourssss!!!"

I pack the same as Katie with a couple extra things, its 11:15 when I get a text from Michael:
"Hiiii, Ash said he'll pick you up at 1:00, and we think we're gonna come back Monday morning/afternoonish and just chill at our place, you can spend the night if you want. Katie and Hazel + a few other cool people are ;D"
"Sounds great :)) who are "+ a few other cool people"? " I reply.
"Eh just a mini hang out crew"

"Ok just... remember to call me." my mom says for about the 3rd time.
"I know Mom I will call you."
"Promise you'll be safe?" My Dad says.
"Always am" I smile. I hug them all and go outside to Ashton's truck in front of my house. Calum comes out of the front seat with a smirk, "May I take your bag ma'lady" and holds out his hand.
I hand over my duffle bag and smile, "Idiot."
He takes my bag and goes around the truck to the trunk, "Any delicates in here?" he asks.
"Why would I take anything delicate camping with me?" I ask. "and why?"
"Well I need to kinda smush it under this seat" He replies.
"Ok"
Katie's head pops out of the open door, "We've been moved to back back row" she frowns. I climb in and sit it the back back with her.
"All comfortable?" Ash asks, looking back at Katie and I.
"Yup" we answer in unison.
"So how long actually is this car ride?" I ask.
"Uuuhhh about a little more than one and a half hours" Luke answers. I can't believe I'm going camping over an hour away (for my first time might I add) with Katie who I find is becoming more like a best friend to me, and 4 idiots with one happening to be my crush. This is going to be very interesting.

"Wakey wakeyyy" I wake up to Calum shaking my shoulder.
"I'm suprised we fell asleep with Ash's driving and these dudes screaming" Katie says rubbing her eyes.
"Are we here?" I ask.
"YES" Michael replies eagerly unbuckling. I look outside the window to my left and see a ditch surrounded by trees everywhere, and just more trees on my right. "I thought we we're going by your dad's house?" I ask Calum.
"Well... A small distance from it" He smiles.
"Alright." Ashton starts, "Lynn, here comes the walk."
"The walk?" I question.
"Like a 50 minute walk through the woods into our regular camping spot... Oh and we need to take all our stuff because we won't be coming back to the car because this, is not. a. plesant. walk." Calum answers.
"Well okay..." I laugh, "then lets get this show on the road"
"It doesn't matter whos stuff you take just grab what you can" Michael says to me as we're all grabbing stuff from the trunk to haul through the woods.

Well. I can definitely see why this is the big dreaded walk. There's tree branches everywhere (obviously) pointy pokey plants, small animals, some rain puddles, and many more of mother natures unpleasantness to dodge around. While you're carrying things on both arms. And might I add doDGING TREES. EVERYWHERE. Finally, the tress clear out and there's just a HUGE gigantic. GIGANTIC. Just... big plain. Flat land as far as I can see. "Woah..." I breathe out. It was actually really beautiful.
"Alright." Katie continues walking a little until we reach a pond and everyone sets the bags down.
"It's 3:40" Calum says.
"Tents?" Michael asks.
"Yep" Ashton answers.
Me, Katie, Michael, and Luke are fooling around when Luke pushes Katie in the pond.
"Hey no fair!! These are the only clothes I brought" She pouts. "help?" She asks me extending her arm out. I take it and try to pull her up when next thing I know I'm pulled right into the water with her. I should of known.
"Hey are you having fun without me?!??" Ashton asks.
"Yup!" Luke yells taking off his shirt and cannon-balling into the pond.
"Ugh GUYSSSS" Calum complains, "these tents are hard to set up"
"Ok ok ok" Luke gives in. We all get out of the water, luckily I had a bathing suit under my clothes and a pair of shorts and a top in my bag.
After about 25 minutes of all the boys arguing reading instructions and yelling, they have 2 tents up. Michael's and Ashton's.
"Alright I'm taking a break" Ash says going into his tent.
"Same. Watching you guys fail miserably really tires a girl out" Katie says walking over to join Ashton laying with half of his body in his tent and half out.

It takes Luke, Calum, and Michael a half hour to get up Calum and Luke's tents, then I hear:
"Uh..... Uh-oh" from Michael.
"Oh god. GREAT JOB LUKE."
"HEY IT WAS MICHAEL"
"OH IT WAS NOT"
"Everything alright?" I ask, walking over to them.
"Well we have a slight issue..." Says Calum.
"Ya... MICHAEL stepped on one of the main connector wire thingies and then accidentally broke the back-up one"
"Hey wait Luke you accidentally snapped a piece by accident too it's not all my fault" Michael adds in.
"So.... You're saying?"
"Ya we can't put up your tent..." Calum says, "You'll have to crash with one of us."
"Oh..." Is all I say as a wave of silence falls over us.
"Well then... who's the lucky man?" Ashton says, sitting up with a smirk.
