Natsu slowly opened his eyes to find nothing but the void of darkness and swirling rainbows.
"Am I dead?" Suddenly a loud voice boomed behind him, saying,
"If that were to be the case brat, then you wouldn't be here." Natsu quickly got up, and saw a massive red dragon, with crimson scales, a large red horn, and a par of large crimson wings.
"Who are you, and where am I?" demanded Natsu. Great Red smirked,
"Ha, funny coming from you brat, you don't even look the type to intimidate anyone."
"You haven't answered my questions yet," said Natsu slightly irritated. Great Red said,
"Look, you're in the Inter-dimensional Gap, and as to who I am, I am Great Red, true dragon Emperor, Re presenter of Dreams and Illusions and the Strongest Dragon in the Universe." Great Red was expecting a shocked expression form the pink (Ahem-salmon) haired teen, but he was the one shocked when Natsu remained unfazed.
"Good for you," the Fairy Tail mage said nonchalantly. Great Red got mad, "Hey brat! I just said that I am stronger than you, and all you say is 'Good for you'?!" Natsu was mad now,
"Oi! Who said that you're stronger than me! I can kick your ass anytime of my life!"
Great Red laughed at his statement. "Hey, who you laughin' at you overgrown lizard!" Great Red said
"Lizard?! I am a dragon for my sake." "Oh yeah! The prove it by fighting me!"
Both beings smirked and let out their intense auras. 'Wow, this dragon is not all talk. He's pretty strong. Well! All the more to fight him,' thought Natsu as he smirked. Great Red was shocked by the amount of power that the pink haired teen possessed 'This is going to be better than I thought,' he thought as he too smirked.
In a instant, Natsu shot forward and closed the distance between him and Great Red, shocking the giant dragon, as he punched him in the face,
FIRE DRAGON'S IRON FIST! He then kicked him, and started combos.
FIRE DRAGON'S ROASTED BATH!
FIRE DRAGON'S BRILLIANT FLAME! A large ball of fire was sent to the giant dragon's way as said dragon roared at Natsu, cancelling the attack. Great Red started his own combo, and at the end of it all, Natsu was barely standing.
Natsu gritted his teeth, and thought that it was time to get serious,
FIRE DRAGON'S WING ATTACK!
DRAGON SLAYER'S SECRET ARTS: CRIMSON LOTUS: FIRE DRAGON'S IRON FIST! Natsu sent a barrage of fast, but powerful flaming punches at Great Red, who was suffering.
DRAGON SLAYER'S SECRET ARTS: CRIMSON LOTUS: EXPLODING FLAME BLADE! A large torrent of flames was sent towards Great Red. Great Red was preparing to cancel the attack, but his attack was cancelled as Natsu used a flaming sword and slashed it. Great Red collided with the attack, and was heavily injured.
Natsu needed to end this, as his magic reserves were beginning to end. Suddenly, his form was covered in fire and lightning. Great Red was shocked.
LIGHTNING FLAME DRAGON MODE! Natsu shot towards Great Red at lightning fast speeds and attacked again,
LIGHTNING FLAME DRAGON'S BLAZING HAMMER!
LIGHTNING LAME DRAGON'S HEAVENWARD HALBERD!
LIGHTNING FLAME DRAGON'S THUNDER PALACE!
DRAGON SLAYER'S SECRET ARTS: CRIMSON LOTUS: EXPLODING LIGHTNING BLADE! Natsu decided to end this with one of his strong moves. Much to his dismay, Great Red did receive damage, but was still standing.
"Huh. Looks like you weren't all talk brat, you managed to heavily injure me. As expected of my apprentice," said the booming voice of Great Red. Natsu smirked,
"Told ya, and what's this about me being your apprentice?"
"Look, the reason why I brought you here was to be my apprentice, and fight alongside me against the Overlord and his army."
Natsu was interested, "Are they strong?" "Yes." Once again Natsu smirked,
"Then I'll be happy to be your apprentice,but lets finish this fight, I don't want all the fun to end here. Great Red smirked, and roared once of his mightiest roars.
Natsu just remembered the situation he was in and gritted his teeth, as he watched the crimson flames heading towards him, Well, guess it's now or never,' he thought. He bent backwards
FIRE DRAGON'S LUNGS! Much to Great Red's surprise, Natsu was actually eating his flames. Then he heard,
CRIMSON PHOENIX'S TEARS! Great Red was shocked to see Natsu healing. Natsu saw the surprised expression and smirked. Suddenly, black flames were surrounding him. Then Natsu, without warning, proceeded to attack. Great Red flabbergasted, as he saw Natsu's new appearance-
-crimson scales
-crimson wings
-crimson eyes, everything about him was crimson, as he took the form of half dragon,
PHOENIX DRAGON HYBRID SECRET ARTS: HIDDEN FIRE FORM: PHOENIX DRAGON GOD!
Great Red was shocked nonetheless. "What is this?!" Natsu only smirked and said,
"Looks like your flames provided me with enough power to unlock my ultimate form. As for the black flames, these are the flames of God." Great Red was shocked no... scared. Natsu, without hesitation, attacked Great Red.
PHOENIX DRAGON GOD'S VERNIER!
PHOENIX DRAGON GOD'S FORCE! Natsu was covered in bright white flames,as his powers and speed increased.
PHOENIX DRAGON GOD'S CRUSHING FANGS!
PHOENIX DRAGON GOD'S VORTEX! A large flaming tornado surrounded Great Red, burning him, whilst draining him out of his magical energy. Natsu decided to end this,
PHOENIX DRAGON GOD'S ROAR!!! A gargantuan torrent of crimson, orange and black flames shot out from Natsu's mouth and hit Great Red, causing him pain and suffering.
Once the battlefield was clear, Natsu was barely conscious and Great Red was lying on the ground, unconscious.
All of a sudden, a bright light emerged from the darkness, and engulfed Natsu whole.
