"Gabrielle!"

I closed the door of the cab and stared at Ji Han. He grinned at me and walked towards my direction, several grocery bags in hand.

"where were you? I've been waiting for so long!"

I blew out my cheeks. I tried to force out a small smile as I slumped towards my doorstep.

I don't think I'm in the mood to talk to him right now.

I seriously just want to rest after taking a cold shower. I want to be alone. I don't want to talk to anyone about anything under the freaking sun.

Ji Han's just too talkative. Too touchy. Plus, his face just reminds me of Ji Soo.

He embraced me, and I flinched. I patted his back, signaling him to break the hug with a forced chuckle. "listen, I'm really tired right now—"

"I understand. Should I run the bath for you now or do you want me to prepare dinner first?"

He bolted towards my door and I pursed my lips. I shut my eyes, rubbing my temples in irritation. "Ji Han, the thing is, I really want to be alone right now"

The smile on his face disappeared. "I- uhm- okay"

I patted his shoulder and opened the door when a thought occurred to me. I stopped on my tracks. "oh, right. I have this friend who needs to be hypnotized"

He met my gaze "you want me to be the one facilitating it?"

I shrugged "you're good at it. better than me"

He nodded thoughtfully "who is it?"

"Hansol. He's one of Ji Soo's groupmates"

His expression hardened. I cocked my head at him, waiting for his answer. I know how hard it is to lose a sibling like that. especially for Ji Han. Ji Soo was technically the only person that he had.

He smiled "sure, I will"

I grinned "thanks. I really appreciate that"
