I took a deep breath and stared at the flowers in the hospital garden, my left arm uncomfortably resting in it's cast. I shut my eyes whilst basking on the warm sunlight.
"ah, you must be Hansol"
I yelped. My eyes snapped open and I stared at Ji Soo.
My heart pounded. The blood drained down my face. Am I going insane after falling from the second floor? I must be seeing things.
It's like Ji Soo got up from the grave and visited me in the hospital.
He sat beside me and held his hand out for a handshake. "the name's Ji Han Hong. Gabrielle told me that you required my assistance"
"Ji Han HONG?"
"yes, I believe my brother's one of your members?"
He looks so much like Ji Soo, it's disturbing. If not for the scar on his lower lip, I wouldn't know the difference between him and Ji Soo.
"it's such a shame, really. He was such a vibrant young lad"
"yeah" I nodded, not really listening to his words "vibrant"
"the other members' deaths are regrettable too"
I don't think I want to talk about this right now. I went out my room to take my mind off this issue and now, this Ji Soo look alike is talking to me using fancy words and what-not.
"were you and my brother close friends?"
I opened my mouth, about to say something when Mr. smart guy answered his question for me. "based on the shock written all over your features, I think it's safe to assume that you're just acquaintances"
I felt a tinge of irritation. He's beginning to annoy me already. "we're close friends"
"obviously not that close for him to tell you a thing about my existence"
I smirked "must've forgot to ask him about his family tree when I met him"
"I don't think it's your fault. He's the one who didn't deign to share that vital piece of information"
What the hell is this guy up to? I narrowed my eyes at him. what is his deal?! Is he trying to make me doubt Hyung or something?
"oh, look at the time!" he exclaimed, his eyes wide "would you mind having lunch with me on the rooftop? We can continue our conversation"
My brows snapped together. I don't trust the guy. Much less like him.
I shook my head "no, thanks. I'm fine here"
"are you sure? Because—"
"hell yeah. You can leave now"
I must've just imagined it, but I think I saw him shoot me a dirty look before chuckling and standing up "I'll be seeing you next time then"
Hope not. "yeah, sure"
I stared at his fading silhouette. He's weird.
