Assassin 9: Kyoto Trip [3]

Δ Assassin 9: Sayuri's PoV Δ    

The next day, we split up with the other groups and went in our own planned route. I am walking behind everyone except for Karma who's beside me.

"Where have you been last night, Sayuri-chan?" Kanzaki asked. 

"A relative wanted to meet me. She has a flight today so we won't see each other again." I smoothly lied.

"But Kyoto is just an hour travel to Kunugigaoka isn't it?" 

"She can't leave because of her work. She's a busy person." I answered. We look around the streets of Kyoto. I like the scenery. It's different from our place. 

We stopped by a tall block of stone with kanji symbols written on it.

"That says... Sayamato Ryoma doesn't it?" Okuda asked.

"The site of old Omiya where the 1867 Ryoma assassination occurred. Plus, if we walk a little further, we'll reach Honnou-Ji. Back then, its location was a bit different though."  Nagisa explained.

"This is really the perfect assassination trip." Sugino said.

"Next is Yasaka shrine!" Kayano cheerfully exclaimed.

"Enough already. Let's rest. I want to drink Kyoto's sugary sweet coffee." Karma tiredly said but we continued on our way still. I admit I wanted to eat or drink something first just to freshen up just a bit. 

We pass by a cafe making me stop on my tracks. I was left behind but I don't care. I want Matcha Latte! 

I entered the shop the smell of pastries and coffee rise in the air. I sat on one chair by the window as a waiter came to grab my order.

"One Matcha Latte and Deco Yatsuhashi please." The waiter left while I stare at the window waiting for my food. 

They are probably in Honnou-Ji right now. Haven't they realize that I'm gone few minutes ago already?

My order came quickly. My eyes sparkled and my mouth watered at the sight. I took a picture of it before savoring the taste.

Delicious! 

While eating, my phone vibrated on the table. I open it seeing Karma's message.

From: Karma~<3
Subject: Where are you?
Message: We didn't notice you leaving earlier. Where are you?

I replied saying I am in a shop somewhere but will follow anyways. Before leaving the inn, I place a tracker on Kayano and Nagisa's phone. With the help of Krystal, I manage to put it on her phone just in case they might be in danger or lost. 

I wonder if I could visit Red for this day. He's probably busy sniping Korosensei but I wanted to meet him again. 

The last time I saw him aside yesterday is when I have a mission to take. It so happened that he was also there in the area for a mission too. After our simple mission, we went to a cafe and talk about stuffs that we've missed to each other. 

Red is like a big brother to me. We might not see each other a lot but we still have contact through messages.

I snap back in reality when my phone vibrated once again. I frown quickly leaving the shop running straight towards Honnou-Ji.
