Δ Assassin 53: Sayuri's PoV Δ

I came to school late once again. I'm always used to is so it doesn't matter to me anymore. Yesterday is so fun! Though we came home early, I was too tired that I overslept and never heard my alarm clock rang. I made the most of it since I am late anyways.

I check my watch seeing it's around 11:30 in the morning. I am four hours late. Wow! I finally beat my record being 3 hours late in class!

I open the door of our classroom with a huge smile on my face.

"Good morning classmates~! Good morning Korosensei~!" I greeted.

"You're late!" They all exclaim in unison.

"You're 4 hours late, Eiryuu-san! What happen?" Korosensei asked while flailing his tentacles with acorns.

"I just overslept sensei." I smiled sheepishly.

"Don't be so late next time!" I sit beside Karma as he is looking at me with mischievous eyes.

"I wonder how Korosensei will react with you cutting classes yesterday~?"

"He'll be mad for sure. Unless you're going to tell him?" I glared at the redhead.

"Heh, do you want me to tell Sensei?"

"Of course not!" I pouted childishly. "Please don't tell okay?"

"Fine. You're lucky I love you." He grumbled making me giggle.

"I love you too~!"

"We will put the acorns in water and throw away any that float, break the shell leaving the interior. Once you have blended the interior, put them into a sack made of cloth and leave them in the river for a week so that any impurities are washed away. After that, leave them dry in the sun for 3 days in the school yard, then grind them to make the fine acorn flour. We will be using that as a substitution for wheat flour. The thing we're going to attract customers will be ramen! We're going to use this flour to make them." Korosensei instructed.

That's a clever idea though. But it will surely lack of gluten despite of its flavor and smell.

"We need a large quantity of an ingredient that has a strong connective properties so we can knead this flour and make a smooth dough. At the end, we need to buy that ingredient." Muramatsu explained.

"We have this too." Korosensei showed a plant that has small spheres on it. "This plant, the peculiarity of these are small potato like fruit called Mukago."

He then pull out a large carrot like shape making my eyes widen.

"If you grate these yams, its smell and connective properties are on a totally different level to the ones you can buy and we can use it to make a good dough."

"Using this method, we have basically obtained the ingredients for the noodles for free. With the remaining money, we can buy good stuff at the supermarket." Korosensei explained. I raise my hand then stood up.

"Don't worry about the expenses!" I said. "I'll take care of it."

"Eh, but it will be a burden for you, Sayuri-chan." Nagisa look at me worriedly.
