Assassin 37: Return

Δ Assassin 37: Sayuri's PoV Δ

The next day, the class went smooth as usual. It just felt so different being back to the way you're used to.

I miss Korosensei's teaching style. It is so different compared to others. He helps us one by one with our weaknesses.

To be honest, I don't think I can't kill Korosensei. He is a great teacher and it would leave a huge impact if he will be killed.

But, it is mine and Kimiko's mission to do so. A mission to fulfill and succeed.

After class, I decided to walk alone the just to clear my mind up. I already have my way to return back.

It was easy than I expected.

While walking, I saw Takebayashi and Gakushuu. Outside the window, I could see my classmates looking over Takebayashi.

I smiled to myself knowing they cared for him too much.

I approach them, the heels of my shoes clicking against the ground.

"Takebayashi-kun, Gakushuu-kun." I greeted with my infamous smile.

"Sayuri-chan, it's good to see you here." Gakushuu replied with a smirk.

"How are you in Class A?" I asked occassionally checking my classmates and back at them.

"Takebayashi-kun is doing good." Gakushuu answered. "Though, he's still trying to adjust to a new environment since he came from a slow learner class."

My smile never left my face but deep inside, I am pissed off at what he had said.

"I see. That's great." I simply replied. "May I speak with Takebayashi-kun for a moment?"

"Hmm sure. Just make it quick. The board chairman wants to see him." I nodded as he left the both of us. I sighed softly then face him.

"Takebayashi-kun, whatever your reason for transferring, please don't regret this decision you had made." I lean on the window then stare at the blank wall. "Do not pressure yourself with studies. I know how the system in Class A works. Please do not be like them."

"I-I don't know..." He hung his head low. "I thought it was a great idea to be back and make my parents proud. But..." He look up to me with sad eyes. "I wasn't happy with this. I would rather be back to them than living my whole life studying."

I smiled slightly tapping his shoulder.

"Whatever the board chairman will say to you, it is up to you to follow or not." I walk passed him then stop. "And another."

I look back at him with pleading eyes.

"Please don't tell anyone about what you saw in the council room. What happens there stays in there. Understood?" He nodded hesitantly before I left him.

I walk out of the building and sighed. Korosensei and the others are probably done stalking. And I assume Karma would be there. I waited for him for a while but none showed up. I was about to leave when someone called my name. I spun around to be greeted by Gakushuu who's approaching me with a mere smile. I heard another footsteps in a different direction but it stop. Judging by the presence, it is Karma.
