Δ Assassin 60: Third Person's PoV Δ
The day of explosion will be the 13th of March. And strangely enough that's the day of the graduation ceremony in Kunugigaoka Middle School.
Today is the 6th of January. There wasn't a single student who didn't prepare his or her assassination plan during the winter break.
January, the month of hesitation.
The time limit for Korosensei's assassination is 66 days from today.
It was a fine morning that Nagisa, Okuda, Kanzaki, and Sugino visited Kayano in the hospital. Nagisa place the basket of fruits on her bedside table them smiled at her.
"How do you feel Kayano? Ah sorry, Yukimura-san." Nagisa asked.
"Kayano is fine." She smiled at them. "I'm really fond of that name because you all call me with that."
"Tomorrow you'll be discharged huh? You totally wasted your winter break." Sugino pointed out.
"Yeah. According to Aunt Sanachi, it will take 2 weeks to completely heal. But, I guess that during winter break everyone..."
"Yeah. No one felt like the atmosphere was right about killing him."
"I'm sorry." She lowered her head. "It was all my fault. I could calm down my heart only after knowing the truth about my sister but in exchange, everyone listened to Korosensei's past."
"You're wrong Kayano. It was something we had to know the sooner or later." Nagisa said.
"Everyone in the class just pretended to not see it with all of their strength. In order to continue the assassination class we were enjoying so much as long as possible. Probably everyone during the winter break is just thinking about how to face the assassination classroom from now on."
"What about you Nagisa?" Kayano asked.
"There is something I want to ask to everyone. When the winter break will be over, we will talk about it." Nagisa answered with a smile.
"I see.."
"Ah.. And.. Kayano, I have to apologize to you." Kayano look at him questioningly. "About that night, that was the only way I was able to think of that time."
That made her pause and go silent.
"Are you angry about it?"
She simply look at him before answering.
"Impossible! You saved me after all. I should be thankful instead!" She exclaimed.
"I'm so glad. I was worried that you would tell me that you didn't want me to be my friend anymore." Nagisa sighed in relief.
"You're worrying too much!" Kayano lie to her right by the window not looking at them. "We always acted like normal friends after all."
Kanzaki seems to notice that there is something wrong with their friend. So she tap Nagisa's shoulder gaining his attention.
"We should go soon, Nagisa-kun. Kayano still has to rest." With that they all agreed to go out of the room leaving Kayano a blushing mess.
