Jay's POV

Mouths...4 damn mouths and she hasn't woken up...I haven't left the hospital along with Tejah. All Tejah does is silently sob herself to sleep. I don't dare leave her room...I can't eat or even sleep knowing that any moment Sila could just slip out from underneath my fingertips. I smile remembering all the times that she had smiled at me. I even miss her almost knocking me out with a vase and a pillow. Her mother is so miserable that she hasn't even gone out of her room in mouths.

"When you first met, Sila...what was she like?" I softly ask playing with her hand. Her ring had fallen out her hair before they got her in surgery. I put her ring back on her finger and smiled.

"She was shy but very bubbly and nice...I knew off the bat she would be a good friend...here we are ten years later practically sisters..." She smiled to herself and looked over at Sila. "Jay..."

"Yeah?"

"When she wakes up...if you hurt her...I will literally kill you with my own bare hands."

"Trust me I believe you...Tejah, can I tell you something that I was too scared to say to her?" I feel a tear drop from my cheek.

"What is it?" She looked so defeated both of us had lost our voices from sobbing so much. I squeeze her hand and freeze when I feel her squeeze back. I stood up and cupped her face in my hands. "What happened?!" She ran over to the bed and looked at every single movement Sila did. All of a sudden the Machines start to beep and turn red a group of nurses rush in pushing the two of us out the door.

"What's going on?!" I ask Tejah and she just sits down on a seat. "Tejah!"

"I don't fucking know, Jay! I have no fucking clue!" She shouts back and covers her face with her palms. "I'm the fuck out I'm having a heart attack!" She violently shakes her leg. I swear, Sila if you leave me alone I'll die...you can't go without me telling you my feelings.

"The woman I love is in there...and it's my fault...I should have known she was in that car." Tejah looked up with puffy eyes.

"Did you just say you love her?"

"I should've told her before...now it might be too late." I run my fingers through my hair and look at my ring.

"Your such a pussy." Tejah hisses at me and buried her face in her kneels like Sila would do.

"I'm worse than that...I'll make it up to her..." One of the nurses came out and looked at me.

"Are you Mr. Parker?" She asks and I nod yes. "You guys can see her now. Just be careful with-" As soon as the nurse is done the first sentence Tejah pushes the nurse out the way and we both run in the room. Tejah hugs Sila as tightly as possible.

"You scared the living shit out of me! Don't you dare do that again! I'm glad you're okay, but if you scare me like that again I will kill you!" Tejah shouts with tears in her eyes. I look at the brown eyes that I've missed for so long. I feel tears streaming down my cheeks and I kneel down by her side and hold her hands in mine.

"I'm so sorry I wasn't more careful! I'm sorry I didn't come earlier! I'm sorry I didn't protect you! I'm so sorry I didn't tell you I loved you sooner! I was just a selfish asshole who cared more about his hair than his wife! I love you so much and I never wanna lose you, Sila!"

"Wait...what did you just say?" She looks at me in shock. I look her dead in her doe-like eyes and gave her a slight smile. "Jay...I'm madly in love with you..." My heart skips twenty-eight and a half beats as soon as I hear those words leave her lips. I kiss her hands and start to smile from ear to ear.

Normal POV

A few days later I was able to go back to the house. Jay had sat me on the couch and went out to get chipotle for me, Tejah, and himself. As soon as Jay stepped out the door Tejah jumped to my side and gave me a cheeky smile. "I videotaped EVERYTHING." My jaw dropped at I slapped her arm.
