"Oh, my, goodness." I cupped my mouth with my hands.

"He would get drunk and abuse me...my mom would try to stop this but he would beat her as well. He would cheat on my mom in our own house. We tried getting help but he was a very powerful man. One time he beat my mom so hard she had to go to the hospital and there she was told she wouldn't be able to have any more children." I gently wiped the tears off his cheek and gave him a small smile. I felt my eyes start to water as well.

"You don't need to go on if you want to." I rest my hand on his cheek and he gave me a shy smile.

"He pushed me in traffic causing me a broken leg and arm. He was finally caught but since he was a rich fucker he only served three years...at school, I would get bullied over all this. I would get beat up in school until I transferred to your high school. The only thing that kept me happy was you, Sila. Your parents were close friends with my mom and thanks to your family I and my mom was saved from that monster."

"I didn't know...and I acted like an ass to you too." I felt a wave of guilt hit me right across the face.

"No, I liked to piss you off. The more I would piss you off the more you would talk to me...the more you would pay attention to me." He smiled at me and wiped the one tear that fell from my cheek.

"Guess both us are broken, huh?" I shyly laughed and he nodded.

"Who said we can't put each other back together?" He had tears streaming down his face. I stood up and pulled him with me. I hugged him tightly not wanting to let go.

"No one. We can do whatever we want, and if that means putting our pieces together then I'm fine with that." I smiled while still hugging him.

"Who knew both us were fucked up?" He laughed and I laughed along.

"Yeah." I pulled away and kissed his cheek. I started to talk away and spun around again. "Oh! One more thing!" I ran over to my bag and pulled out a box. "My mom had given it to me two years ago. She told me to keep it for a special person. She never let me open it until I found that special person." I pulled him down on the couch and sat on his lap.

"Do you know what it is?" He asked curiously.

"Nope." I gave it to him and told him to open it. He opened it and it was two necklaces. Both had a heart but one had a key and the other had a lock. One said "forever" and the other said, "and always". He looked at me and smiled.

"You have the key." He winked and took mine out. He put mine on my neck for me and I put him on him. "Now, we are truly those cringe kinda couples." We both laughed at what he said before we went upstairs to our room.

The alarm went off and Jay slammed it silent. I rub my eyes looking at the clock. I try to reach for my phone but realize Jay has his arms wrapped around me locking me in place.

"Mhm...you smell nice..." He smiled eyes shut. "How? How do you smell nice all the time?"

"You're so annoying." I laughed and look back at him. Wow...he's gorgeous...he would make beautiful children. Wait! Did I just say that?! Sila shut the hell up before I beat your ass! Gosh, I'm talking to myself again. I started to play with his piercings as he buried his face in my neck sending chills down my spine. "Jay, we need to get up."

"Why?" He whined hugging me tighter. "I like laying in bed with you. Plus, you smell great too." Why does he keep saying that?

"Do you have a fetish about the way I smell?" I laughed.
