(A One Punch One Shot)

Genos and you finished tyding up around Saitama's place.

You thought that it was unfair of Saitama to take advantage of Genos' naive mind and unquestioned loyalty to make him do house chores. However, that statement quickly became debunked as Genos told you that he actually felt so indebted to his sensei, and that he is "not in any way displeased" to be doing housework every once in a while.

"Hey Genos, wanna take a break?" you come inside from collecting the dried laundry.

"Actually, I need to-" his phone rang in his pocket. "Excuse me."

While Genos was on his call, you took off your gloves and washed your hands.

What a strange guy Genos is. Apart from being part robot, he's a completely unreal human being on his own. Being a young guy and half robot and whatnot is understandable, but his mind was so ... gullible?

'Nah, he's a pretty smart guy. Just a little too under the influence of his master— That totally doesn't sound wrong at all...'

Genos comes back in saying that it was Saitama calling about plans for dinner. Apparently Bang is taking you all out that night; his treat.

"Sounds good. I'm gonna have to stop by my place to get changed into something first.

"Why?" Genos asks.

"Well..." you looked down at your baggy shirt and torn jean shorts. "I'd like to wear something a bit nicer, ya know?"

"He said it was strictly casual, nothing formal is needed."

"I know, but, girls like to feel nice."

Genos pondered this, "I see..."

"So where is this place he's taking us?" you had your staff in hand and slid open the door to the balcony.

Genos looks up from his thinking, "An international cuisine restaurant. Apparently, it's celebrating its first day opening."

"What time?"

"8:30."

"I'll see you two tonight, then." you waved to the cyborg as you took off on your staff and headed on your merry way towards the facility.

When you arrive home, it was to find that it was 3:25 in the afternoon, so you killed some time with a nap and then took a quick shower.

Checking the time again, it was about 4:30-ish, and seeing that you still lived in the facility that was 3 hours away from the city, you wanted to leave a bit early to at least be punctual.

You chose a nice maroon sweater dress and some ankle boots to wear to dinner, brushed your hair, tied it tightly, and then fixed your face with some light makeup. With bag in hand, you left out the door feeling quite excited for dinner.

Bang made sure to call just as you were leaving to remind you and also said, "Don't worry about spending too much on tonight. It's on me, so you're free to pick whatever you like on the menu."

That put a smile on your face.

You flew to the city where the location was, but decided to take your time walking the rest of the way. You undid the hairtie holding your bun just before arriving at the front, and your hair fell into perfectly wavy locks.

Now, you were ready.

Going in, it was to see the exact reason for Bsmg's reassurance earlier over the phone. This place is an exquisitely built establishment; with polished tile floors, fine leather seating with suede cushions in the booths, waiters and waitresses dressed in formal uniform, and a large crystal chandelier hung from the center of the dining area. This was indeed a more uptight place to be eating; far from Bang's request to keep it casual. Luckily, you had taken the initiative to dress up a bit.
