I walk into my homeroom and sit down at my desk like I usually do.
I look over at the girl who is always staring at me. She's still doing it, as usual.
I stop staring at her and listen to the teacher.
"Hello, everyone," the teacher says. "As you know, this school year is ending soon. That means that you all are going to college."
People started zoning out at this point.
"Which means," the teacher says, seeing that no one is paying attention. "You must find a roommate to live with you in your dorm."
Everyone perked up when the teacher said that. People around the class starting talking to each other while I just sat there. I decided to look over to where the strange girl sat.
But to my surprise...
She was gone.
