Daisy and Destiny

Chapter 5

"Ummm," I wrote. A sleepover on a school night?

"Sure," I finally wrote down.

"Nice!" said Destiny, excitedly, jumping a little. "I gotta get to class now, obviously, but I'll see you!"

"Bye!" I wrote down and showed her.

"Bye!" she said, smiling. She waved to me and disappeared into her class.

I headed towards mine.

=After Detention=

I rushed out of the double doors of the school, feeling the soft breeze of winter's last few days of cold. Yes. Summer was coming and I loved that feeling. I sighed.

Three more days.

Three more days and I'd be done with this high school.

A little. I still had all the people from this school to go to college with me.

I looked around for Destiny. Where was she? She came out of detention a bit earlier. Wow. There's still so many people here talking after school. 

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw two strong-looking guys bullying someone. The girl being bullied was just cowering back. Probably listening to all the mean things they were saying about her.

Jerks.

I looked away.

I waited a few seconds. I looked back at the girl being bullied again. They were still bullying her. A third guy had shown up.

The girl still stood, shaking.

It was Destiny!

Immediately, my adrenaline kicked in and I ran over to Destiny. I stood in front of her.

The bullies, three strong boys that were clearly Seniors, but way taller than me, just looked down at me as I glared at them. They laughed.

"Oh," said the first bully. Clearly he was the leader of the bullies. The other two were just sidekicks. "What do you want to say to defend your friend? Oh wait, you can't say anything."

He shoved me a little. When he shoved me, I accidentally hit Destiny, who fell.

That.

Was.

It.

I punched the second bully in the stomach as hard as I could. He fell to the floor on his knees groaning. But he got up and ran away along with the third bully.

"Do you really want to start a fight?" the bully asked me.

I could hear Destiny getting up. Looking back at her, I say that her elbows were scratched and her hands were badly bruised and scratched.

He hurt her!

I was so angry that I felt myself float a little, I saw gold dust fly around me and when it stopped, I felt things appear on my head. And I also felt... a tail? I looked back and saw that the magic had formed a cat's tail. I felt the top of my head. Fluffy ears? Were these cat ears?

The bully screamed when he saw me. He instantly ran away. Everyone still here noticed this and stared at me. 

I hear a lot of people gasp.

A few people scream.

A lot of whispers happen.

I hear someone shout: "The world is ending!"

Not knowing what is going on, I panic. I feel like crying. I look at Destiny, who is taking off her sweatshirt. She puts it on me and puts the hoodie over my head. She hides my tail in the sweatshirt.

Then she grabs my hand and we run off, taking the long way home.

I loved writing this chapter. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I do!
I was originally going to write something else, that still had a cliffhanger but wasn't really much of a plot twist. I decided to write this, and I'm so happy I did! >0<
