Previously on Daisy and Destiny...

"I hope not," says Destiny, studying the prophecy on the screen.

She reads the date on the top of the screen.

"A quest to take place..... in two days," she reads.

==============

"B-but.... but I can't turn evil!" I say, worriedly. "I don't want to. In two days.... we have to do something!"

"Calm down," Destiny says, putting her hands on my shoulders. "You won't turn evil."

"But.," I start.

"You won't turn evil, Daisy."

At this point, I started crying a little. What if Destiny wasn't right?

"Hey, don't cry," Destiny says hugging me tightly.

"I'm going to turn evil," I sob.

"No...you won't," Destiny comforts me.

But even as she kept comforting me, I kept crying.

I hugged her and cried for a while.

Later, Destiny's mom came upstairs as we were continuing watching Lab Rats on Netflix.

"Would you girls like some lunch?" Destiny's mom asks. "We have salad."

Destiny looks at me and gives me her "I'm hungry, can we go eat?" look.

I smile and we get up and go to the kitchen. We eat the salads on the table happily.

Destiny's mom comes into the kitchen.

"Mom," says Destiny. "We read the prophecy."

"You did?" Destiny's mom says. She sits down across from us at the table, eating her salad.

"Yes. It's happening in two days," Destiny says.

"Oh," says Destiny's mom, surprised. "What's the first part of the prophecy, again?"

"The creature who was a friend is not who she seems. To start the first part of the quest, follow your dreams," Destiny says. I'm surprised she remembered all that.

"Hmm," says Destiny's mom. "So what do you think that means?"

Me and Destiny looked at each other.

"What do you dream about?" I ask Destiny.

She looks down, probably thinking.

"I want humans to be able to know about us," she finally says. "To know that we can turn into animals. To accept us for who we are. Keeping secrets is so tiring."

Destiny's mom nods.

"What about you?" Destiny asks me. "What's your dream?"

"I don't really have one," I say after thinking a little. "My dream was to have a voice but..... that's already happened."

Destiny nods.

"Maybe one dream is enough," Destiny's mom says. "What's the next part of the prophecy?"

"The people who have the same dream will be the people you take on your team," I say, proud that I remembered that part of the prophecy.

"So..," Destiny says. "Who has the same dream as me? Who do we take with us? I thought it was just me and Daisy going on the quest."

"There must be more people going with you," Destiny's mom says. "But.... your dream. Pretty much all of the half humans- half animals have the same dream. All of us want for humans to know who we really are."

"So maybe we have to take all of the half human-half animals with us," says Destiny. "Maybe that's what the prophecy means?"

"Destiny, dear," Destiny's mom says. "Your thinking too hard. How about both of you go watch your Netflix show and think about the prophecy while you watch? We have two days, sweetheart."

"Ok," Destiny's sighs.

"Cmon, Daisy," Destiny says. I follow her into her bedroom, where we continue watching Lab Rats. It's getting good.

"Dreams, dreams," Destiny keeps muttering as we watch the show. I can tell she's stressing out about the prophecy.

"Destiny, it's getting good, pay attention, please?" I would whisper to her every few minutes just to get her to try and stop stressing for a little bit.

She looks at me this time when I say that.

"You said that two minutes ago," Destiny says, finally figuring out my trick for her to stop worrying. "The good part is over. The series is coming to an end."

"Yeah but there's another good part happening now," I say, and this time I was actually telling the truth. The last 5 minutes of the series was playing.

We watch the TV closely, ready to finish the series and watch the conclusion of this wonderful show.

And then soon, it was done. It was an amazing ending!

"That was awesome!" Destiny said, smiling. I was so happy to take her mind off things. Suddenly Destiny yawned. She looked at her alarm clock. "But it's 2 a.m., Daisy. We've been up so late these past few nights, with only popcorn for dinner. Let's try and get some sleep."

I nod, agreeing, and then get off Destiny's bed and onto and under the blankets of the air mattress I sleep on.

I fall fast asleep quickly.

Daisyyyyyy...

A voice calls to me.
