. . .

"Hah! Really now?" You cover your head with your arms, smirking when droplets of water started raining down gently. You grab your food and hurry over to a covered area, hurriedly stuffing your face with your noodles. Lunch time was almost over, so you needed to hurry. You had spent most of it reminiscing your childhood, and how shitty it really was. You munched on your (fav. snack food) as you watched the rain pour down. 'It won't last long. Rain this heavy never does.'

You think back to that morning. 'Sports festival, huh? I wonder what we'll have to do.' You hold up your hand, looking at it unblinking. 'I'll have to find a way to stand out as more than a background character.'

You turn tail and walk back to the lunch room, going to drop off your tray before heading back to the classroom. You arrive a few minutes early, and sit at your desk, resting your head on the desk. You turn it to the side, staring out the window. Just as you suspected, the rain is starting to let up already. Your eyes drift closed, and you doze off with the sound of the soft pitter of the drizzling rain.

   "Eh? What is this?!"

It was the end of the day and time to head home, but as you and your classmates had gone to leave, you all were blocked by a mass herd of students from other classes. You gasp, taking a step back. Your eyes flicker over them all, and you gulp, face heating up and your hands getting clammy.

Beside you, Iida spoke out to them without a problem. "What business do you have with Class A?" The grape kid, you recall his name being Mineta, ran forward, "We can't get out! What'd you come here for, anyways?!"

Bakugou stepped towards the students blocking the door. "Scouting out the enemy, small fry. We're the ones who made it out of the villains' attack. They probably wanna check us out before the sports festival." That's Bakugou in neutral mode. The blonde stopped right in front of them, his voice steady and low. "There's no point in doing stuff like that. Out of my way, extras!"

You and your little group of Uraraka, Midoriya, and Iida sprung up at that, appalled at what he just said. "Stop calling people 'extras' just because you don't know them!" Iida said, chopping at the air with his arm. You grab his arm and lower it to his side, sheepishly grinning at him, before turning back to Bakugou with a grimace. "Bakugou-Kun! Please, speak with some respect, and treat them like fellow human beings!" You were still gripping Iida's arm, eyebrows raised now in worry. You feared that the explosive blonde ahead of you could easily make the other classes become your class's enemy, just like that.

Bakugou turned to look back at you, and was about to say something, when a different voice rang out. "I came to see what the famous Class A was like, but you seem pretty arrogant. Are all the students in the hero course like this?" The boy who spoke out stepped forward through the crowd. His unruly purple hair matched his eyes, which had bags under them. Your blood boiled at his words. "Keh! Now listen here, you can't just go judging us based on one person!" You let go of Iida's arm, stepping forward with your fists clenched. The boy glanced at you before continuing to speak, your outburst not fazing him. "Seeing something like this makes me disillusioned. There are quite a few people who enrolled in general studies or other courses because they didn't make it into the hero course. Did you know that?"

You stepped forward further, standing beside Bakugou. Your (eye color) orbs bore into his frame. "The school has left those of us a chance. Depending on the results of the sports festival, they'll condiser our transfer into the hero course, and it seems they may also transfer people out." His cold tone sent chills down your spine, and you stiffened. "Scouting out the enemy? I, at least, came to say that even if you're in the hero course, if you get too carried away, I'll sweep your feet out from under you. I came with a declaration of war."

The purple haired boy and Bakugou stare at each other for a solid second, before another male voice calls out, and someone poked up from the crowd. "Hey, hey! I'm from Class B next door! I heard you fought against villains, so I came to hear 'bout it! Don't get so full of yourself!" Your eyes glaze over, and you block out the person's words as you walk forward, starting to push yourself through the crowd. "Excuse me."

You vaguely register the silver haired boy 'from Class B' shout something else, but you block it out, fighting your way through the mob of students. Eventually, you manage to get out, and you start to swiftly walk away, when your wrist is grabbed. You resist the urge to groan and instead look back. Your eyes widen.

"Fancy seeing you here, (last name)."

"Ugh, Monoma, go away. You're spreading your virus." You retort back, not in the mood to deal with the boy that you knew back in PreSchool. The blonde shakes his head, smirking. "Ah, so I heard you got into 1-A, huh? Don't you need a strong quirk to be in that class?" You narrow your eyes, pulling your hand away from his grip. "Oh yeah, I forgot. You left the school to go somewhere before I acquired my quirk. I mean, of course you left. You're not exactly the brightest."

He growls, stepping towards you. "Whoever heard of manipulating storm elements?" Your eyes widen, and you take a step back. "W-Wha? How do you... Oh. A copy quirk? Impressive. What God bestowed that upon you? Was it Hades*?"

"Eh? Don't speak that way to me. Je suis supérieur à vous de toutes les manières!**" You roll your eyes, "Yeah yeah, whatever." You suddenly start to walk towards him, alarming him. His eyes flicker over your slowly approaching frame. When you are a few inches away, you bring your hands and clap loudly, startling him. He gasps, stumbling backwards. You giggle, your eyes brightening. "Whoopsies! Did I scare you? I'm not sorry."

You turn and walk off swiftly before he has a chance to recover from the startle you just gave him. He watches you walk off, with wide eyes and short breaths. You sure have changed since he last saw you eleven years ago.
