*ahem this chapter will have its fair share of swearing down at the end of the chapter. Just so you know, swearing is gonna become regular in this story, just thought to warn ya. I don't think I've had a lot of major swearing in this book so far? But it'll become normal from now on so aye.

"Ura.. ra.. ka..?"
You put a hand over your mouth, holding back a snort at Bakugou's questioning tone as he read the name of his first opponent in the final event. A bit behind him was Uraraka herself, looking terrified and like she wanted to just drop dead there.
You felt bad for your friend, but you had to focus on your opponent for the first round.
'Kaminari Denki vs (last name) (Y/n)'
"Hmm... Well, I know I'm not holding back on him." You muttered, a tick mark appearing. You were still pretty annoyed at the stunt he and Mineta pulled. You looked down at the cheerleading outfit you were still wearing. 'I need to go change out of this...'
"Oi, Smokey." You blinked, looking to where the voice came from. Bakugou was facing you now. You put on a smile, turning your body towards him.
"Yes, Bakugou-Kun?"
He shoved his hands in his pants pockets, a scowl on his face. "Don't lose against that damn Sparky. And if you go against Deku, beat him too. I want to go against you in the finals."
You grin, nodding. "Okay, Bakugou-Kun! Anything else?"
"Yeah, change out of that thing."
"I will!"
"That's better... Now, time to find where Ojiro told me to meet him..."
You had changed from the cheerleader outfit back into your gym uniform. Before you had run off to change, Ojiro had told you and Midoriya to meet him in one of the rooms. If Midoriya lost against 'Shinsou', then you'd have to go against the purple haired boy, and Ojiro wanted to warn both you and Midoriya about Shinsou.
"Oh, here it is!" You grin, knocking and announcing yourself before going inside. "It's (last name), I'm coming in." You walk in and see Ojiro and Midoriya sitting down at a table. You smile and sit down beside Midoriya. "Alright."
Ojiro greeted you and started explaining Shinsou's quirk.
"Hey guys, are you ready?!"
You heard Present Mic's voice come on over the speakers.
"Aww, that time already?" You pouted, putting your hands on your cheeks. "Well, guess we better head out."
"Alright, but one last thing."
"Hmm?"
"No matter what, don't answer him. Remember that." Ojiro stood as he spoke, furrowing his brow. You slowly nod, pursing your lips.
"Okay, Ojiro-Kun. Thank you."
Midoriya stood too, mumbling a 'thanks'. You couldn't blame him. His match was the first of the tournament, and you were anxious for him.
'I hope he beats Shinsou... Oh, but then...!'
He'd have to go against you if you beat Kaminari, which you vowed to do.
'Oh no...'
"A lot's happened, but it's now come to this! A serious battle! You can only depend on yourself!" Present Mic's voice rang out, and you groaned. You could definitely go a few days without listening to that. "Even if you're not a hero, you'll face lots of situations like that! You get it, right? Heart, skill, body, wisdom, and knowledge! Use all of that to rush up!"
"Mngh..." You put your hands on your cheeks, squishing them slightly. 'Does he ever shut up...? I wish I was the first battle so I could just get it out of the way...'
"Audience! The finals that you've all been waiting for are finally starting! Match number one-- Even though he's down well, what's with that face? From the hero course, it's Izuku Midoriya!" You cheer, clapping your hands. You were sitting up with the rest of your class. You knew you'd have to head down soon, but you wanted to see at least the first part of your best friend's match.
"Go Izu!!' You call out, cupping your hands around your mouth.
"Versus-- Sorry, he hasn't done anything to stand out yet! From general studies, it's Hitoshi Shinsou!" You put your hands down on your lap, frowning at the sight of the purple haired boy walking towards the arena. You hope Midoriya beats him. "The rules are simple! Force your opponent out of bounds, or immobilize them! You can also win by making your opponent say, 'I give up'!
"Bring on the injuries! Because we've got our very own Recovery Girl waiting on standby! Put your morals and ethics aside for a moment! But of course, anything life-threatening is crap! It's not allowed! Heroes should only use their fists to catch villains!"
"I'll stop things if they go too far," Cementoss spoke up from his cement seat near the arena.
You can see Shinsou talking to Midoriya, not seeming to care that Present Mic is screaming again.
"Ready??"
'Come on Izuku... You better not be a bitch and forget what Ojiro told us...'
"Start!"
You hold your breath as Midoirya stiffens, an angry look appearing on his face. 'What the fuck did Shinsou say for him to get that mad?!'
The green haired boy starts to walk towards Shinsou. You narrow your eyes when you catch sight of Midoriya's mouth moving. 'Shit! Izuku you dumbass! Did you-'
Suddenly, Midoriya stops sprinting and goes stock still. His face is expressionless, his eyes blank. You gasp, clenching your fists.
Ojiro cries out softly, standing and putting his head in his hands. "Agh! I went through the trouble of warning him, too!" You stand too, holding out a hand to put on Ojiro's arm.
"Izuku, you dumbass...!" You cry out softly, sorrow in your eyes. 'He can't just lose like that! Pointless! Stupid!'
"Hey, hey, what's the matter?" Present Mic speaks up again, commenting on Midoriya's sudden statue imitation. You wish it was an imitation. "It's the important first match! Liven things up!" From beside you, Iida and Uraraka stand up too, shock adorning their faces as they realize what's happened. "The match has just started!
"And Midoriya's completely frozen?!"
'Dumbass!' You scream in your head, clutching the fabric of your shirt with the hand not gripping Ojiro's arm.
'Fucking stupid! Izuku, how could you forget?!'
You glare at the distant figure of Shinsou, eyes narrowing. 'Dirty...! What did you say to make Izuku so mad he forgot the important thing Ojiro said?! Fuck!'
