I studied the firemen pole, trying to put the puzzle pieces together until, an idea came to mind "your a dancer too?!" I yelled and Jonathan and Sam froze in place.

Sam snorted and laughed and so did Jonathan, they laughed for a short while until they wiped they're eyes and sighed in relief.

Jonathan smile and ruffled my hair "Good one kid but I'm not a dancer" sam smiled "it was just installed here before he moved here" sam said while leaning against the bed frame. Jonathan chuckled "yup, the last owners were freaks" he said.

I nodded my head and looked back at him "then why don't you take it down?" I asked and Jonathan scoffed at me "I can't afford to take this down" he said with a bit of a snappy tone in voice.

I hummed and Jonathan coughed then smiled "shall we get started?"

A few hours past, Jonathan and Sam were teaching me the moves on the pole, how to move your body and also having a good time.

But once it turned 10, I had to go home. Jonathan asked me if I wanted a ride but I said no and that I wanted to walk home and enjoy the sun set. Sam ruffled up my hair and said that it'll be better to hitch a ride then to walk home alone and risking getting jumped and on what happened to Jenna.

I get that Jonathan is very protective of Jenna, but he doesn't need to treat me like a child. Darry already got that covered.

"I don't need a ride, I'll be fine on my own" I reassured and Jonathan hit the top of my head "no, your getting a ride rather you like it or not" he said with an annoyed tone.

I rubbed my head and sighed "no I don't!" I said and Jonathan huffed "that's it" he said before carrying me onto his shoulder and kept a firm grip on my legs so I won't kick, I hit his back and yelling at him to stop and put me down but he didn't listen.

He opened the back door and threw me inside and closed it, I tried to open the door but it was on child locked. I huffed and crossed my arms over my chest when he gotten in.

He started up his car and drove out of the drive way and to my house. I watch the houses and a few people pass by occasionally.

Then Jonathan stopped at my house, Jonathan turned to face me "next time I won't hesitate to give you a ride" he said sternly, I rolled my eyes "didn't look like you were hesitating" I said and he glared at me.

Then he smirked at me "every day your changing kid" he said with a small chuckle, I looked at him puzzled 'I'm changing?' I thought before exiting the vehicle. Jonathan drove off before giving me a small wave and soon down the road.

I waved at his car and turned around and walked through the fence gate. I peeked through the window and saw Dally, Soda, steve and darry on the couch and Darry on the arm chair.

I turned the door knob and pushed the door open. Darry is the first one to swing his head towards me and bolted up from the seat "where have you been?!" He yelled and I rolled my eyes at him 'here comes the lecture for staying out so late'.

"We've been worried sick for you, why you keep going out and coming back so late?" He asked calmly with a hint of worrying in his voice. I was quite surprised at his tone of voice suddenly changed, I looked at Darry and didn't respond to him, trying to recover my surprise.

Darry still stood in front of me, waiting for an answer. Soda walked slowly towards us and lightly put his hand on my shoulder "hey, everything alright?" He asked me. I sighed and closed my eyes and breathed and reopened my eyes to reveal my two older brothers with concern expression.

Seeing them, in front of me with concern makes me feel guilty to lying to them even face to face, now I regret lying to them before. I smiled at them, realizing on how much I mean to them even if they are strict, they cared and loved me and did everything for me.
