(me and my stupid ass forgot to point out that this whole book is in like, the modern day, 2019... enjoy!)

As we sat in silence, Darry truck pulled in the drive through and he, soda and Steve came out, Chatting about old times or how soda met a beautiful girl.

I yawned a bit and snuggled into Dallas jacket, he glanced at me then back at the three guys that walked by us. I sighed and we sat in another silence until a cold breeze past by and I shivered "I think I'll head inside" I said and went inside.

I saw Elijah eating his soup with a bed head, he looked kinda funny that way.

Darry glared at him and glanced at me before leaving to his room. I sighed and sat beside Elijah, he placed the empty bowl on the coffee table and rubbed his eyes "he doesn't like me very much, does he?" he asked and I shook my head no and he sighed sadly "figures, he never did liked me" he mumble before standee up and gather his things and said goodbye and left.

I frowned at Elijah, maybe he just wants to put his past behind him and Darry just being stubborn to even let him do that.

I cris crossed my legs on the couch and let out a frustrating huff as my back hit the couch. Two glanced at me and looked back at the tv "what's wrong pony?" He asked and he drank another beer. Classic two.

I shook my head lightly "everything" I mumbled.

The day went on like usual, nothing very much exciting happening. I put the last washed dishes into the other sink and drained the dirty water.

I dried my hands with the towel and hanged it on the stove handle. I walked into the living room and saw two bit still in his spot like always.

I sighed and walked to the stairs and stood in front of Darry's closed room door, I hesitated for a bit before opening it. Darry was lying on his bed, with his hands behind his head and while he looked at the ceiling.

I stood at the door while shuffling a bit at the uncomfortable silence as the air grew tense "close the door pone" he mumbled but it was clear as day.

I took a step inside and closed the door behind me and sat at the foot of Darry's bed. I looked at my feet and heard the bed creaked a bit as Darry moved.

I felt his stare behind me as he looked, like he was thinking what I was thinking "the reason I don't like Elijah is because.... he betrayed me" I glanced behind me and saw Darry looking at at his lap.

"Me and him were best buds when Paul left me, Elijah was just an average teenager who was very educated and very, very kind" I heard him laugh.

"He passed all his classes and his was friends with everyone, even greasers" he chuckled at the end and it made me chuckle.

"He had everything, a beautiful home, a lovely family even if his real mom left, he gets to see and talk to her every now and then" he said before sitting next to me "then, his mom died of a robbery, he lost contact with his real mom and his father left when Elijah turned 18, leaving him to take care of Jonathan" he sighed "Elijah changed completely, he never finished school because of his job then, he gotten fired and started to do... drug deal, he was a very educated kid and I'm not surprised if he knew how to made cocaine or other drugs"

I frowned "I tried to get him on the right path but, he didn't listen and left with Jonathan without a word" he finished.

I sighed "pone, the reason I don't want you to hang out with him is because he might change you into him or worse, I might lose you" he said while staring at me with tears in his eyes.

I wiped my eyes and frowned "I know Darry, I know" I mumbled and he hugged me "pone.... Ponyboy... you can still hang out with him but you need to tell me if things get out of hand, promise me... promise me you'll tell me.. please" I nodded my head yes and smiled "I promise" I felt him smile "I trust you pone"

we parted and Darry chuckled "no wonder you smell like Dallas" he pointed to his oversized leather jacket.

I laughed "I forgot I had this" I mumbled while rubbing my neck in embarrassment.

He chuckled before ruffling my hair, I giggled and hugged him once again before we went Downstairs to see the guys.

The next day was kinda the same but everyone wasn't home, just me in my baggy white hoodie and underwear. I sat on the couch and read my book when all of sudden, the phone ranged through out the whole house.

I picked it up "Hello?" Jonathan chuckled "I brought you some pants, open the door" I chuckled, I hugged up, gotten up, and opened the door.

Jonathan wore a blank sleeve top, black skinny jeans with a white belt, his white converse and his jet black hair wasn't comb and was everywhere.

He held black skinny jeans and a red hoodie in his hands "here, me and Jenna went out shopping and decided to buy you this"

He gave me the clothes and pushed me to the washroom.

I changed and gotten out, it feels good to wear pants again. Jonathan looked at me and gave me a thumbs up "looking good" he said and I chuckled "thanks... where's Jenna?" I asked and he pointed to the car "she in the vehicle, she still feels sore from the fight"

"Oh..." I mumbled and followed Jonathan out the door.

Jenna wore a white hoodie crop top, with blue jeans shorts with white high knee socks with pink converse. She looked at me and smiled "hey pone, ready for the auditions?" She asked me with a smile.

I nodded my head yes "hell yeah!" As we drove to the club.

(And again, I've been messing up my writing, shit mistakes and other things you've noticed and not me but sorry about it)
