Adeline's P.O.V.
The three of us stand in silence. Beck looks at us confused by the words Ashton has just said and I look at Ashton with a smile on my face.

"This is your date? You're here as his date?" Beck looked at me, asking me still confused.

I wasn't confused like Beck, I was happy. Ashton was surprising me today and I enjoyed it. I liked this side of him.

"I am. Is that a problem?" I ask lightly and I wrap my arm around Ashton who still has his arm wrapped around my waist.

Beck looks at me and laughs.

"Ashton Irwin? Has a date? Has he gotten in your pants yet, or is he working on it?" Beck laughs more.

I look over to Ashton confused on why Beck was laughing. Ashton wasn't amused either, he had his jaw clenched tightly. Beck kept laughing and holding onto his stomach.

Ashton balled his fist and was about to let me go, but I stood in front of him, held his face and gave him a deep, soft kiss. I rest my hands on his chest, I feel him relax under my touch and he holds the small of my back kissing me deeper.

I pull away slowly and take his hand in mine as the boat reaches the dock.

"Well, it was nice to meet you Beck, but we have a date to enjoy." I give him a fake smile, leaving him in shock, and lead Ashton off the boat.

"What was that for?" He asked looking down at me as we walked.

I don't answer, I just keeping walking. I feel him stop walking, I turn and give him a confused look.

"You didn't answer." He says shyly.

"Ashton, I saw it bothered you. I didn't want someone as irrelevant as him to ruin our date." I say truthfully looking up at him.

"I wanted to punch him Adeline. He has no right speaking about you the way he did. What happens between us, our sex life or whatever is none of his concern. I want to punch him. I'm going to punch him." He says through hia teeth.

What Beck said didn't affect me. I know it should have, but I've heard enough crude things like that through high school to the point it doesn't affect me. It wasn't nice, it wasn't his buisness, but he was doing it to get a rise out of Ashton.

I hold his hand and shake my head.

"Ashton, it's okay. I'm here with you, we're having an amazing time. Don't let him ruin it." I step closer to him.

He instantly wraps his arms around my waist and kissed my forehead. I can't help but smile at how affectionate he's been today.

"We should go home." He kissed my forehead again and took my hand in his leading us to his car.

The walk to the car is silent. He opened the door for me and got in the car. It's still silent between us. He turns on the radio to fill the silence I'm guessing and begins the drive home. I look out the window and I feel his hand slide on my thigh, giving me a gentle squeeze, I don't look at him, or his hand, I simply rest my hand ontop of his.

"I had a nice time with you Adeline. I'm sorry if it wasn't how it was supposed to be, or how you've experienced, this is my first date, ever. I'm glad it was with you." He speaks softly.

I turn to look at him and he turns away from me. His cheeks flushing from embarrassment.

"I had an amazing time too. Thank you." I give him a soft smile.

I look away from him back out the window. The we both stay silent. After a while of driving we reach his apartment. I get out of the car and walk into the building, Ashton a few feet behind me. We go into the elevator and Ashton pulls me near him.
