Adeline's P.O.V.
Last night I didn't even bother to fight Ashton. If he didn't care why should I? He acted like nothing happened, maybe because he thinks I didn't see. I really don't care. I didn't say many words last night, but he didn't seem to notice. He still held me, which I wish he wouldn't have, but he did.

I get out of bed and change into a white dress that went to my mid thigh and a jean jacket. I curled my hair and pinned half of it back and let the rest be. I also did natural makeup. Then I put on some tan brown sandal heels.

I grabbed my duffle bag and threw all my dirty clothes that I've had here in it. Deciding to take it home and wash it.

"Where are you going?" Ashton asked in a raspy voice still laced with sleep.

"I told you my uncle was coming into town today." I answer shortly.

"You're going dressed like that?" He asked. Was something wrong with what I was wearing?

"Yes. Is there a problem with it?" I asked as I walked over to the mirror to look myself over.

"No, not at all." He got out of bed and wraped his arms around my waist.

I look away.

"Where are you taking that?" He looked over to the duffle bag.

"To my apartment. It's all dirty, I just, I want it at my apartment." I look at his arms and escape his embrace.

"So you're leaving for the day?" He asked.

"Yeah. Are you sure you can't come?" Maybe this would fix this, maybe if he came I could see he was actually trying.

"No Adeline. I'm busy." He said.  Almost so close again.

I don't respond. I grab my phone and keys off the nightstand and the duffle bag off the floor leaving the apartment.

Ashton's P.O.V.
I don't understand why she had to be so difficult, if I told her no yesterday, why would she ask again, it was stupid. The whole idea of her uncle or whatever meeting me. Why would I want to meet him?

She's been acting different since last night, but I didn't think much of it. This girl made things complicated, more complicated then I needed.

"Hey Floyd, come over." I say, not even realizing I dialed him.

He didn't say anything, he just hung him, but around twenty minutes.

"Hey Ash, what'd you need?" He said as he walked in and I just shrugged.

"Where's Adeline?" He asked. He's been getting closer to her lately, shit so close he might know her more then I do, but for some reason I wasn't angry about, slightly maybe, but nothing how I was with Calum.

"She left, she has some shit with her uncle today." I say and run my hand through my hair.

"Didn't she ask you to go?" He asked watching me closely.

"Yeah, I told her I was busy. Why the fuck should I meet her uncle? Why should I even give a shit?" I said and laughed a bit.

"You should meet her uncle because it's important to her Ashton, he's important to her. You should give a shit because it's what she wants, and you want her. She's not asking for a lot dude. What do you have planned that's more important then this?" He asked his eyes judging me.

"I'm going to party at the frat again." I shrugged.

"Are you fucking serious Ashton? Get your shit together! Fix your fucking priorities! This amazing girl and making her happy should be at the fucking top Ashton! You're so fucking stupid you don't realize you're losing her!" He yelled now. I've never seen Floyd this angry, especially not over some girl, then again Adeline is the only one who's been around this long.
