CH 4 Trip To The Pit

( Third p.o.v )

Thalia made herself the quest leader and told the others to go get ready and pack. She looked at her things to make sure she was ready to go. Nectar, ambrosia, water, food, a tent, sleeping bag, and a weapon. She was good to go so she went to eat with her sister's.

It's been an eventful night as Nico finished his packing. He just kept thinking about going back to Tartarus. He'd really hate going back there, but if they're going then maybe Percy didn't get out like he thought he would've. Alright, he thought to himself let's make sure I have everything. Backpack with clothes, food, water, nectar, ambrosia, and a sleeping bag. Okay, he put it all up and checked that special pocket. A bunch of his step-moms pearls to travel with just in case. "Alright looks great should go eat breakfast tho, I need to stop talking to myself he thought.

At seven in the morning, all the quest members meet at Thalia's Pine tree to leave. They decided to take a plane to Los Angeles because they wanted to save their strength for Tartarus. Nico might be the only lucky one to be able to use his powers down there at first. Zeus must have been in a good mood along with Apollo since the sky was clear and brightly sunny.

After a three hour flight, they made it taking a cab to the DOA Studios. There they stopped at Hades palace for a bit to eat. Sooner than expected they made it to the entrance of Tartarus. They argued a bit about who to go first. When out of the blue Calypso pushed Leo in. As Annabeth was about to yell Thalia pushed her in next. They laughed for a bit when Nico realized he could shadow travel them down. So that's what they did while setting up a camp to wait for the other two to arrive

( Hunter's p.o.v )

We didn't really get to make any decisions my brother and I just followed. It was also quite funny to see Annabeth and Leo fall down. Gunter quickly puts up our tent we got from Lady Hecate. It was enchanted to be like a house on the inside. Its enchanted to add rooms depending on how many people were going to sleep in it. "Hunter maybe we should train than learn about the others." "Okay, Gunter you're right. Want to use the gym in the tent or train like old times." Gunter looked at me and scoffed," Like old times brother."

I grinned at him as we snuck away to a vacant arena. Right away we started with some push-ups we finally were able to do three hundred each. After a good ten minutes went by we did some pull-ups. We stacked some rocks up then used our weapons as a bar. This took a lot of body strength and practice as to not cut ourselves. Ten more minutes later we broke out in sweat. We took off our shirts as I got back on my sword. Let's go, bro these abs don't stay rock hard for no reason." Gunter came up to me punching my abs. He threw various punches as I continued to hold up my weight. Once I started to slip from my sweat we traded places.

Gunter was about to finish as we felt the presences of two people. "You can come out Lady Thalia and Lord D'Angelo you don't have to hide from us." Nico came out of the shadows and Thalia from behind some rocks. "We knew for a while. We were just waiting for y'all to come out when y'all were ready," I said.
"You guys are pretty strong for not being big three kids." spoke Thalia, "Thanks Lady Thalia," said Gunter. "Please just Thalia. I'm sure Nico would agree as well," she smiled. Nico just nodded watching us closely.

"Not to be rude guys but is there something we can help you with?" I asked. "Yes, actually we were going to cook dinner but need wood for a fire." we looked at her funny. "You won't find much around here. How about we treat you to dinner," I spoke. The two just nodded at us. "How about you guys get Lady Calypso and meet us in our tent," spoke Gunter. The twosome left to get our guest.

We began cooking after we had showered and gotten dressed. Gunter sat down at the table playing on his phone after putting dessert in the oven. "Hey is that a phone." We jumped at the sound of Nico's voice. "Oh, sorry we forgot to announce ourselves. Hope I didn't scare you too bad," Nico said sheepishly. "Its ok Nico don't worry about it. Also to answer your question yes its a phone." They all took a seat, expect Calypso. "Can I help?" she smiled at me. "Only if you want. You're my guest after all." "What can I do to help?" I looked at Calypso," You can make the tea. It will be in that cabinet over there." She walked up to it and pulled out the fresh Moon Lace.

"Where did you get this?" she looked at me shocked. "The tent is enchanted to fill up with fresh food and stuff every day. That happens to make the best tea. Gunter and I enjoy it a lot with a hint of mint."  She started a pot as I finished up the food. The others helped set up the table ignoring our protests. I served everyone as Calypso got the tea ready to serve, she poured everyone a cup as Gunter took out the dessert. "This is delicious where did you learn to cook guys," smiled Thalia. "Our father taught us to cook," I said back.
