CH 12 Fates Visit

( Third p.o.v )

Wrath waited patiently for everyone to wake as he watched Hunter. He wanted to be mad but he couldn't. He knew the glass would have struck Thalia instead if his boys weren't such gentlemen. But he also felt relief knowing the girl he was slowly gaining a crush on again was ok. Calypso should be up first from what he has seen. She had the least of injuries compared to the others. Nico, Leo, Thalia, and Gunter used up to much power. Annabeth used up too much mental energy he's surprised she didn't blow. Hunter obviously had lost to much blood, Calypso just ran a bit too hard.

( Wrath's p.o.v )

Ugh, I better check on them again I guess. I went up and was going to open up Nico's room first but I heard groaning from Calypso's room. I slightly cracked the door open to see a dazed scared girl. "Are you okay?" "Water, please. Water," she croaked. I summoned some water for her to drink. She chugged it down," Thanks a lot."  "No problem."

I took Calypso down to see Hunter after she freshened up. "Is he ok?" she looked worried. "I'm sure he'll be fine but he might have an ugly scar afterward." "Would you happen to have some plants and herbs?" she asked. I pointed to a cabinet, "It fills up with whatever you need." She made her way to it and grabbed what she needed.

I watched quietly as she mashed all the plants together. "What are you making?" She looked up at me," Its a recipe I made it makes wounds heal without such big scars."  I kinda just went quiet after that not knowing what to say. "Will you show me how to make that?" She looked up at me once more smiling.

We started to talk more after she showed me her healing remedy. We made small talk like our favorite color, how old we were, favorite book and etc but like always my ADHD kicked in. "How are you here and why aren't you with Leo?" She looked taken back at first then suspicious," How do you know about all that?"  "I'm pretty old Calypso besides I'm not always stuck down here I've heard gossip." She gave me a hard look then sighed. "There was this awesome hero named Percy Jackson he freed me from my prison but I was still stuck on my Island. Then Leo showed up one day and like always I fell in love. He said he would come back to me so I waited. Then one day I felt my heart break knowing he had cheated on me."

I was infuriated at what she said. I didn't know she had felt him cheating on her. Or that she was still on the island until she was needed for this quest. The gods always fuck you over somehow.
"I'm sorry to hear about all that. Do you have any feeling left for him?" She smiled sheepishly," For Leo no but Percy that's a different story. I knew he liked me but he had a prophecy to full fill. Sometimes I wonder what he's up to." It made my heart clench knowing she still cared.

I was going to ask another question when we were interrupted by my bosses. "Hello young Wrath how are things going?" they said. Calypso bowed to them real quick. "No need to do that child were aren't the gods." "Everything is going as smooth as I can make it my ladies." They smiled at Calypso," The others are gonna wake soon go get them please dear." She hurried herself up to get the others.

"So what do I owe the pleasure to." The Fates went to sit on the couch. "There's much to discuss dear. They're going to need all of you to win this war so they must convince y'all for we can't force y'all." I nodded understanding what they were saying. "We are going to test the others and give them two choices what they pick will either help or not." I looked at them curiously," What are you going to ask them?" "All in good time dear don't worry."

Calypso returned with everyone as they all sat on the couches around the Fates. "What might be the lovely reason behind your visit?" asked Thalia. "Simple dear to give you answers." They looked at the Fates suspiciously. "What's the catch," said Annabeth. "Ahh dear no we are simply here to possibly help your quest think of it as a gift." "What are you offering us then?" Leo asked the Fates. "A choice boy a choice." "Ok what's the choice?" asked Thalia.

The Fates looked at me and smiled. "The choice young ones is simple. You can see Wraths true form now or we can gladly give you a map that will show you where the closes Sin is at. Its a majority rule so choose wisely." I just grunted I wasn't gonna show them anything. I still don't trust them even if some didn't hurt me. The group looked at me then got up and went to the kitchen to talk. They talked for a bit as quietly as possible.

"What makes you think I'll show them that's it's me." The Fates smiled at me," We don't that's the point Wrath." I was so confused right now as they just kept smiling. "Ok we've come to our choice," said Thalia. "What have y'all chosen," smiled the Fates.
They all looked over to me," We want to know who he is." I was a bit shocked to hear Thalia say that.

"You're a bunch of fools you know that." We all turned to the stairs to see Gunter had come down and had woken up. "I told you what I knew of our father being here and that he controlled his own Fate. These ladies won't be able to show you or tell you. You just made this quest harder on us." The minor gods looked down in shame at realizing this. "Gunter, are you ok my boy?" He nodded at me and said hello to the Fates. 

"Hello, young Gunter you have become a great hero already saving your brother like that. I'm sure your Father is proud," They told him. He smiled and thanked them. "Father can you please sacrifice a favor for that map, please. I know you don't have to help us but please. It would make brother happy when he gets up. Knowing he didn't almost die for nothing." I smiled sadly at him, "Of course my boy. I won't let these fools ruin your first quest."

I turned to the Fates," My ladies may we please get that map. You can consider this as one of my owed favors." The ladies smiled, "You'd still give everything up for your family Wrath. This is what made you our favorite all those years ago." They stood up to give me a hug as well as Gunter. "Remember this well Minor gods. If you want to win you need all the sins and must gain their trust. Those boys and their family will save you all. Good luck." They had left in a big poof of smoke leaving a map behind.

"Gunter grab it and hold onto it till tomorrow we'll discuss everything then." He as told then left to check on Hunter. "Make yourselves some food then take a good shower then sleep. Will talk about this in the morning." The minor gods and Titaness took off to do as told. This gonna be a big mess I thought to myself.
