CH 15 The Lair Of Thieves

( Third p.o.v )

In the morning everyone got up and meet at the table. Wrath clapped his hands and summoned a buffet of food. Everyone got to eating so that they could go get ready to find Greed. They went up after eating to shower and put on fresh clothes. They let the couple use the guest shower and let them have some clothes.  Before they packed up the tent Wrath took each of their weapons to sharpen. Once he gave them back they exited the tent and packed it up. Gunter had his map out walking towards the new marker he assumed was his uncle.

( Wrath's p.o.v )

We were walking to Greed. I needed to text him and let him know was on the quest. I slowly fell back and waited to text him.
I spoke quietly into the watch," Hey Greed its Wrath. I'm with the questers, Nico, Leo, Annabeth, Thalia, Calypso, and the Twins. Make sure you don't get discovered with your hood down by them if want to be a secret. They don't know who I am will be where you're at by nightfall."    I clicked send and the message went through.

I pulled my map to look at his location. Of course, he's at the lair of Thieves I thought. His position still hasn't moved though I wonder if he's alright. "Where are we headed, Wrath?" "Huh what? Oh, we are headed to The lair of Thieves," I told Nico. "Why would he be there?" asked Leo.

I rolled my eyes," Because dummy he's Greed it's in his nature to take things he wants." Leo pouted at me," Oh ok." "You didn't have to be rude to my boyfriend," yelled Annabeth. "Oh I'm so sorry Leo I didn't mean to hurt your little baby feelings," I said sarcastically. "What's your problem you jealous or something," she sneered.

I had stopped walking at what she said and so did the others. We stood in silence until I busted out laughing so gods damn hard I fell on the floor. The others smirked and snickered at this. I finally got up looking at a furious Annabeth. I dusted my self off, "Please jealous of him. I'd have to be stupid. I'd rather go out with Calypso or even Thalia. Shit, I'd even date Nico over there than you." Calypso and the boys laughed hard as Nico and Thals blushed scarlet red.

"Besides I have three beautiful girls as it is. So don't kid yourself. Let us continue walking please." My watch went off as we started walking again. "I saw it was from Greed. Hey, thanks for letting me know I've been sitting in the dungeons in the Castle for awhile looking for stuff and flirting with a cute monster that's down here guarding me," I read. "Lol, of course, see you soon happy hunting. I got a new prize to show you," I sent back to him.

Jax flew down to us after he had scouted the Castle. It was getting dark down here and we wanted to get him now. We stopped a mile out behind some boulders to keep us covered.  "Alright, so does anyone have a plan better than mine?" Annabeth scoffed, "Of course I do." "Well spill it please?" asked Hunter.

"Ok well from the looks of it they aren't to worried by intruders. They have a gong to bang if they see anyone coming. If we can kill them before they hit it I could sneak in after awards to scout the inside," She said proudly. Everyone looked at me for an answer. "Honestly not too bad but not gonna work." Her smirk disappeared," And how would you know?"  "Oh, I don't know maybe because I've been here before." "What's your plan Father?" asked Gunter.

"Glad you asked my boy. So I know I can't really help unless it can change the course of effects.
But that doesn't mean my pets can't. So Shade here will go in and scout the building before we do anything and scan the layout of the building for us. Sending copies to the three of our watches. Once he's back Thalia will take out the monsters by the gong with her bow. The boys will take out the ones below with theirs. Then one of them will go in with you to dodge the traps." "How do you know there are traps?" "I've been here before remember," I rolled my eyes.

"Shade come here boy." Shade walked up next to me I clicked my watch and it made a scanner appear. I put it around his neck making sure it was comfortable. "Alright boy, you know what to do." He barked at me then turned invisible along with the scanner. He barked once more before taking off. "Alright, it should send a layout once it's done scanning the place." "How did he turn invisible?" asked Nico. "Really Neeks you had to ask," said Thalia.

I chuckled at them, "It's fine he's a rare type of wolf made down here. He a cross breed of Hellhound and Werewolf. Sometimes they mate down here and make crossbreeds. There are two types depending on who gets impregnated." "Really? What makes what and what's the other type," asked Nico. "Well, Shade is a ghost wolf which is made with a male wolf and female hellhound. The other type is a fire wolf made from the Female wolf and a male hellhound. I actually have a pack at our home made of the two but I could have the beta leave as well." "That's so cool," gasped Nico.

Beep beep I looked at my watch. I opened it and there was a 3d floor plan of the house. Then two minutes later Shade showed up. "Alright, our plan is in action try not to trigger the traps the watch should tell what type of trap it is." Everyone nodded ready to go get Greed.

( Third p.o.v )

The group went to action on the plan. Thalia and the boys whipped out their bows and fired. Thalia took out the three up top as the boys took the ten down below. Hunter proceeded to go with the group infiltrating.

Using the map they made it in after picking the lock to the doors. Once in they sneaked around using the shadows Nico controlled. Annabeth and Hunter were taking out the guards and people walking around. They made it safely to the dungeons where the loot and Greed were being kept.

The hard part had now begun for the group. The traps were at every corner down there. The map showed a trap like every five feet. But Wrath was right about the watch letting you know what the trap was.
