CH 16 Tricksters Game

( Third p.o.v )

Hanging tightly to the wall was a man. This man was waiting patiently for someone. When his guest was going to arrive he received an unexpected visit from the Warden. He smiled at the Warden he thought she was pretty. His smile irritated her making her scowl. She went up to him and before he could talk she punched him across the face.
He smiled wickedly at after spitting out some blood.

He was going to speak when his watch went off. "Can you tell me what it says?" he asked. The Warden went ahead reading it out loud and quickly took off to set the traps up.

( Greed's p.o.v )

Damn, she left before I could reply to the message. "Watch please send a message to Wrath."
Beep," What would you like it to say?" I thought about it for a second," Hey thanks for letting me know. I've been sitting in the dungeons in this Castle for awhile looking for stuff and flirting with a cute monster that's down here guarding me." Beep," Is that all sir." "Yes, watch please send it to Wrath." I heard one more beep as it sent the message to Wrath.

"You can come in my little buddy." I heard some shuffling then felt a small bite around my ankle. Once the bite stopped a little firefox appeared in my sight of vision. "Hello, my boy did you find anything worth taking." He profusely started wagging his tail around. "Great job Scout."

"Soon buddy some people are coming to save me. I'll break out then and have some fun." Scout rubbed his body into my leg before laying down beneath me. Not much longer I thought to myself then I'll have some fun with the boys.

Ten minutes went by when I heard a bark. I looked around and saw Shade coming into my cell. "Hey boy how are you?" He barked at me wagging his tail. "I'm guessing Wrath and the others are here." He braked once more before turning invisible and taking off. "Scout get up its time."

I heard footsteps roaming the castle making there way down to the dungeons. " Scout watch the door please." As he stood to watch I ripped the cuffs off the wall and broke the cuffs off my wrists and legs. I summoned my outfit since I didn't want to be seen.

"Ok, buddy lets go get some treasure." Scout led me to the treasure room after busting the cell door open. As we were about half way there I heard that sweet voice. "Hey who are you? What do you think you're doing?" I turned around as she slowly approached me. "I'm not gonna ask a third time." "What's wrong princess don't recognize me without my shirt on," I said slowly taking off my mask to give her my smirk.

"How'd you get out?" she asked. "Sweety I could have left whenever I felt like it. I was just searching for something." She growled at me and charged. I simply sidestepped and tripped her to the floor. "That must hurt. But sadly I can't stay I must be going now." I turned around putting my mask back on. I broke open the door to the treasure room as Scout went to find the rare items.

Scout stood up on his hind legs once he was done to get my attention. I walked to him and saw a few nice items.

I thought Wrath would love it since he hasn't found one good enough yet. I picked it up and hit the hilt to the floor and a hidden blade appeared like a spear. That's dope he's gonna want it. I scanned it and looked at the next item.

This is totally mine. I'm not gonna give that to anyone. Ever since Kronos I've like battling with scythes. I even taught Wrath how to use one. I started picking up jewels up before left. When I closed the door a huge boom went off. Wonder who set that off Scout. 

Scout started whinnying and yelping at me. "Ok boy we can have some fun let me sit down first please." He made room to sit once I did he bit me. My bones started to crack and pop. My body was shrinking down to Scouts size until I myself was a copy of him. Once the pain was gone I nodded at him as we took off to have some fun.

( Hunter's p.o.v )

"Come, guys, we have to keep going." "Easy for you to say you didn't blow up," said Leo. "Ugh, Leo you volunteered because your fireproof remember. Plus we can reform he can't." "Wright I forgot," said Leo. "Alright according to the map we're in the middle of all the traps and... hey the marker is moving again." "What? Let me see," said Annabeth

She looked to that I was right. "Why is it getting closer to us?" I don't know but if Gunter was right and its Greed well shit we might as well go back." "What's so scary about someone who already sounds like Zeus," Leo said. I was gonna respond when a trap went off and shot some arrows in Leos' arm.

"Oww. What the hell who sent off that trap." We looked around and there was no one around but us and Greed. "Guys lets just find Greed and go." we continued to walk past traps until one got Annabeth. "Damn that hurts. I would have preferred the arrows." "Leave the dagger in your leg it will bleed less." She stood up and we continued slower this time.

We made it past some more traps when I noticed something. I told everyone to stop and very carefully look ahead. It looked to be a critter running around. "Do y'all see it?" "Yeah but what is a fox doing down here?" whispered Annabeth. "Guys I think there are two of them," Nico whispered. "Guys I got an idea."

Everyone gathered around me as I typed on my watch. It was my plan on what to do. It said, they must be setting off the traps we need to catch them. Distract them as Nico and I catch them. Nico use your powers to grab the slightly smaller one while I'll shoot the bigger one.

We kinda split up as we got ready to catch the foxes. We heard some snaps go off as Annabeth set off a trap. The small fox was gonna run further back but got caught. Now it was my turn to catch a fox I thought. Leo was going to ask what to do when I quickly swung my sword down on the little fox. My blade was stopped by a hooded figure.

"Good try nephew but you only caught one of us." I shook my head at him," That's where your wrong Uncle." I smiled at his confused face and looked down. I had my dagger to his guts, a killing strike if necessary. He looked up and smiled," Guess you win this game my boy." He flashed us out to our camp.

When we got back Father right away busted out laughing. "What's so funny Father?" "The those two look. I'm surprised Greed didn't get them harder. How many traps did you set of Greed?" Uncle smiled at him," Just a few. Would have been more if not for Hunter." Greed went and gave Wrath a bro hug.
"ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY THIS WAS SOME KIND OF SICK GAME," yelled Annabeth. "Yes.No," said Father and Greed at the same time. "Hey look can we just get healed up and sleep for the night I'm tired. We can talk and argue in the morning please." Father set up the tent after healing the injured. "Let go to sleep everyone," he said.
