Oh my god, Scorpius thought, Please don't kiss me.
It wasn't like Scorpius didn't want Albus to kiss him. But Scorpius didn't know how he felt, or when Ginny or Harry would randomly walk into the room. Alas, the boys stayed there, gazing into each other's eyes, totally silent.
Albus parted his lips and Scorpius held his breath. Albus saw and closed his mouth. He pulled Scorpius up before letting go. He cleared his throat and brushed his hand down his shirt awkwardly.
"Thank you." said Scorpius, looking at the mirror on the wall.
Albus shook his head and led them downstairs. He saw Ginny, Harry, James, and Lily all sitting at the table. They were all talking about Quidditch matches and World Cups. James saw the two boys and smirked, but Lily jumped up and hugged Albus, then Scorpius. She was always so sweet.
"Good morning, Al. Morning, Scorp." Harry greeted, "Breakfast is on the counter."
They all ate eggs, bacon, and waffles. It was good, but Albus and Scorpius didn't really notice, for they were still thinking about what had happened.
Albus wanted to kiss him. And Scorpius did not. Neither knew how they felt about the other. Albus was sure his brother was planning some prank on him, or waiting for Albus and Scorpius to do something gay, and then make fun of him in front of the whole family. Scorpius was terrified of Harry or Ginny becoming suspicious about them and kicking Scorpius out, causing him to go back to Draco, who was the last person he wanted to see.
It was all a mess.
