I stand in front of the mikealsoms home. I reluctantly knock. Elijah opens the door. "Hello Mrs.Forbes." "Hey Elijah is everyone here." He smiles and nods. "Yes. You may come in." I smile and walk in he puts a hand on the crease in my back and leads me to the living room.
I sit patiently waiting. I wipe my hands on my pants. They were sweating really badly. Sophie sat beside me. Elijah and rebekah came in and sat, then Kol, Hayley, and lastly klaus with cami. I rolled my eyes. "What did you need to talk about love." He says holding her hand. I stand up and brush past him. "You might not want her here for this." I say to him. "She's fine now hurry up with it." He growls. Cami looks at me and gives me a reassuring smile. I look at Sophie for help. Sophie stands up and starts. "5 months ago i came to the conclusion Hayley was carrying Klaus' baby. But i was wrong." Everybodys head snaps to attention. Hayley looks completely shocked. "What are you saying witch." Klaus growls letting go of Cami's hand. "Im saying i messed up hayley wasn't the one carrying your baby. She is carrying another hybrids. I assumed you had killed all your hybrids but you hadn't. But this baby carried so much power i thought you had to be the father but you arnt. Tyler lockwood is." Klaus turns to hayley and rushes at her. Sophie gives him an aneurysm. "Its not her fault and im not done." She growls. He looks up at her with tears in his eyes. "One thing i was right about was that you did have a baby coming. But it would come later on. About 4 months ago you slept with a girl. That girl is carrying your twins." His eyes travel to me. "In a thousand years you've only loved one. Then you met a girl. An hour later we're all back in the living room. "I just don't get it. It has to be klaus' i slept with Tyler a week before i did with klaus." Hayley says with her head in her hands. "We must of got the days wrong." Sophie says apologetically. "What will happen now. I mean hayley's still in danger." Rebekah points out then adds. "I mean i don't like her at all but the babies innocent." "We'll still protect her she's became family." Elijah says defensively. Klaus burst out laughing. "I only tolerated her because of the child." Elijah growled at him. "No he's right hayley should be protected just as much as you would protect me." I call out to Klaus. "Caroline right now i need to focus on you. Your the most important thing to me in this room." He says back. Cami looks down in sadness. "Fine than I'll protect her." I growl at him. They all look at me surprised. They knew i hated her. Klaus laughed. "Love your not strong enough." I glare at him. "You want me to dagger you again." This time he growls. He flashes me against a wall. He puts his hands on either side of my head and leans in. My breath hitches. "You got an advantage because you know i would never hurt you. With or without you being pregnant." "Okay thats enough." Kol calls out. I push him off me and he smirks. "Then its settled Hayley will stay here." Elijah says standing up. "We never agreed on that." Klaus growls. "She stays unless you want me to give Caroline a dagger that can kill you." He says too calmly. Klaus gives him a look that could kill and doesn't reply. Everybody stays in the living room talking about what they'd do to keep me and the babies safe. I got bored so i go to to get a water from the fridge and camille follows. "Caroline." I turn and she smiles at me sadly. My hearrmt breaks for her. "Listen cami just because me and Klaus are having babies doesn't mean you two have to break up." "Its always been you Caroline Klaus loves you. Not me. Im ending things because i want both of you to be happy. Goodnight." "You don't have to-." "Yes I do." She whispers and tells Klaus to go talk to her." He glances at me then walks upstairs.
I wait patiently in the living room for Klaus and cami to come back to the living room. Cami rushes past us crying and leaves. Klaus walks in and glares at me then walks back upstairs. "Klaus i-." But he continues. I stand up and hurry after him. He goes into a room. I walk in after him and see paintings everywhere with an easel on the middle. "Klaus i didn't tell her too i-." He turns on me and slams the brushes on his table. "This isn't about Camille. Its about how all i think about is you. I fucking can't stop. I want to move on because you don't want me. You deserve better. And i can't be what you need. I try to be with Camille i kiss her and think about you. Its not fair to you that you are having a monsters kids. You deserve so much more." Tears fall from my eyes. I hated seeing him so hurt. "Is that what you really think. That its a burden to carry your babies. That your a monster. When i found out i was so happy. Scared to death yes but knowing my babies, our babies were gonna be protected by the closest most loving family made me feel so much better." I hold his face between my hands then add. "And for you to think that i dont want you hurts me because all i want is you. More than anything. For the longest time i denied my feelings for you. Because i didn't want to lose my friends. But losing you it hurts like hell....... The same day i found out i was pregnant i found out my best friend was dead and that you left me again. Losing her hurt but i imagined if you were her and i almost lost my mind. So im gonna be completely honest with you. I am in love with you. No matter what you say or do. I can't stop thinking about you. I want you." I search his eyes. He smiles. "I love you to Caroline forbes but i don't want to hurt you." He says this then adds using compulsion. "I want you to stop loving me. I want you to think of me as a friend. I want you to move on from me and be happy as we raise our children together. I want you to forget this ever happened. Go downstairs and act normal happy even." I nod and he kisses me passionately. I begin to walk downstairs.
"What happened." Rebekah asks. I look at her and smile. "I.... I don't remember." She looks at me angrily. "Oh never mind." She says as she heads upstairs. My smile fades and sadness passes over me. Why couldn't he compel me. Why didn't he want me to love him. Why did he think he would only hurt me....... I think really hard. I would act like the compulsion worked. But show him he can be with me. I'll prove it to him. "Whats that on your wrist." Elijah asks. "Its a bracelet i got from a small little voodoo shop. He smiles. "Read the inside." Rebekah had that made in the 1920's when Klaus sent away Stefan her first love. It was to remind her family was above everything else. And to always love Niklaus no matter what. I have no idea how it got into a voodoo shop." I smile down at it. "No undo what you did." Rebekah growls at Klaus. "What are you guys talking about." I say turning around. "Nothing love my sister is insane. Don't mind her." "Elijah he compelled her." She growls. I look up at him faking shock. "No i didn't." He spits at her. "Rebekah he didn't dont worry." I reassure her. "Im not dropping this Niklaus. If i since anything off about her i will dagger you." She says walking down ths stairs and sitting beside me. I turn and flash him my most breathtaking smile. I would win this game.
