With a flash of light and my throat ripping in screams, I found that I was falling to the ground.
I landed on the concrete with a loud bang, creating a giant crater in the earth.
The foamy black liquid bubbled up my throat and came out of my mouth. I struggled to get on my hands and knees so I could stand.
Ollie walked to me swiftly. "Nellie??"
"Save yourself." I croaked before throwing up again.
My eyes shut tight. My breathing slowed to a stop. This was it.
"I'm sorry." I whispered as Ollie crept down next to me.
My eyes opened wide and I saw the world with new eyes. New colors.
Colors that reminded you of happiness, beauty, hope.
Colors that reminded you of pain, sadness, fear.My eyes flickered to the boy next to me. I let out a low growl and immediately flew up off the ground.
Flying around was exhilarating, I felt powerful. I was powerful.
I soared through the air, the wind blew through my dark hair that was beginning to turn to a silky white color.
"Nellie!! Come back!" I heard a yell from the ground.
I whipped around to see the same boy. I thought I'd already killed him.
Guess i'd have to do it again.
I flew down to him, knocking him over. Ollie fell to the ground, scraping his hands on the rough concrete. "This isn't you." He mustered out.
I placed my foot on his back and pushed his body into the ground with great force. He yelped softly.
"You're wrong, this is me." I cackled.
I took off my foot and allowed him to get up. He looked like he was deeply contemplating his next actions.
"Your move." I hissed.
Sadness flooded Ollie's eyes, he ran at me with his fist in the air, ready to give out a punch.
I effortlessly grabbed his fist in the air and chucked his body to the side.
He got up again, a large scrape on his face. He flared his nostrils and ran at me again.
Before he could land a finger on me, I threw my arm out and sliced his chest with the horns that had grown on my arms.
He fell to the ground, hand on his chest in pain. "Stop. Let's talk, please." He wheezed.
I tauntingly walked to him and cocked my head to the side. "No." I said innocently.
Ollie struggled to get up. "I don't want to fight you.."
"Oh, we were fighting?" I cackled, "well, you're not much of a fighter."
He stood tall, arm across his chest, tears in his eyes. "So.. What now?"
I approached him with an evil smirk. My jaw opened and unhinged, releasing several snake-like tongues. They slowly wrapped around the boy's neck and tightened their grip.
