Team NEGL (Fairy Tail x RWBY)

Chapter 11- Let the Hunt begin...

Team RWBY were playing a board game in the library, courtesy of Yang and Ruby. All members of the feminine team were engaged in the game, whilst team JNPR were a table away, doing a multitude of separate activities. Ren was reading an abnormally large book, Nora was napping next to him, Jaune was reading a comic book until Pyrrha snatched it away and made him read a proper book, she herself then started read the confiscated comic.

It was all peaceful in the atmosphere, until a familiar pink haired lizard-tailed brawler came into the scene, looking like he went to hell and some more, with a complexion more pale than Weiss, and eyes more dead than Ren, along with a nonstop shaking action which caused Jaune to vibrate away when he attempted to stop it by holding the Faunus teen.

"Natsu... Is something wrong?" Ruby asked, hoping to understand the issue more thoroughly.

"Well you see..."

FLASHBACK - HALLWAY

Natsu was casually walking next to Velvet through the school, as they were heading to team CFVY's dorm room. Natsu was walking with his hands behind his head, and Velvet was walking next and REALLY close to him, with her hands behind her back and displaying her mood with a great smile.

"So, why do you want me to meet your team?" Natsu asked, hoping to break the silence.

"Well... we're all fans of the famous 'Salamander', and when I told my team I met you in person, they had faces of disbelief, and they thought that I was lying, so I'm hoping you could help me..." the bunny Faunus admitted in embarrassment.

Natsu simply wrapped his arm around her, enveloping her in a comforting embrace, and making her blush a few shades darker.

"Well, let's sort out this whole ordeal out then eh?" He suggested, earning a small nod from the shy girl.

(TEAM CFVY DORM)

Velvet opened the door gently and allowed her and Natsu inside the room. In their were her teammates, the first was a girl that was wearing a black beret, sunglasses, an amber sweater, black jeans, high-heeled boots, had machine gun ammunition wrapped around her shoulder and belt, and was holding some sort of case. Another was a dark tanned guy with maroon hair, a red tank top, black jeans, black boots and major scars all over his arms, as he was currently sharpening some sort of gauntlets with blades on the elbows. The final person was a brute of a man easily standing six foot at least, with an Asian facial appearance and short hair, wearing green armor around his left arm, along with a green kimono like outfit, he was currently practicing with an enormous curved greatsword that stood nearly as tall as he was.

"Velvet, how could you not tell me you were bringing a handsome boy back? We trusted you!" The sunglasses wearing girl said in fake hurtfulness, as she was seemingly the teasing type.

"N-NO, T-That's NOT IT! This is the famous 'Salamander' who helped me about a week ago!" Velvet exclaimed, hoping her team would understand, but received sweatdrops from the two males on her team, whilst Natsu kept a cheery grin.

"So... he's single then?" The fashionable girl asked with a tone of hope.

Velvet then started ranting uncontrollable, which was actually very adorable for the people in the room, as they watched her struggle trying to look angry while waving her hands everywhere.

"Well anyway, my name's Coco, the big guy is Yatsuhashi, and that's Fox..." The girl now identified as Coco explained, introducing Natsu to the whole team.

"Well yeah anyway, I'm Natsu Dragneel, the wanderer of wonder, brawler of bad. But you might know me as the mighty 'Salamander'!" He responded, giving a few small nicknames along with his official one, posing for the last in a boasting manner.
