Chapter 30- What Trust has Wrought...

Mercury still stared in confusion at what happened, as video footage of their fight showed him trying to attack Yang, EVEN after he had just been defeated and she acted very mature about her victory.

This wasn't how it was suppose to go, Emerald should've used her Semblance to change it so that it seemed she attacked him, yet it didn't happen. Without her acting hallucinative, he was forced to try and attack her for real, ending in where he is now. When looking towards the girl in accusation for not following the plan, Mercury could only see her getting too distracted by Natsu, who had her trapped in a steamy makeout session.
