Chapter 15- Dragon Dance

Jaune and Pyrrha were sparring on the rooftop, with Natsu watching on the sidelines sporting a huge grin and arms crossed. The two were just going through some intermediate sword swinging and blocking movements, and it looked like Jaune had the advantage for a second, until Pyrrha ducked under and gave him a sweeping kick, making him fall on the ground in an instant.

"(Laugh) Well done, your swordplay's improved immensely." Pyrrha complimented the inexperienced fighter.

"Yeah man, now you're all 'hyah' and 'swoosh!'" Natsu added, making funny gestures before pulling Jaune back up in one pull, nearly chucking him in the air.

"Yeah well, I couldn't have done it without either of you..." He responded.

"Alright, now let's focus on aura now." Natsu said.

"Actually, I'm thinking maybe skip aura tonight? Might go on a jog or something..."

"What? Come on man, it's not gonna be all bad. The key is to always have a fire in your belly, that's what I go with." Natsu encouraged.

"Yeah, don't worry, we know you get frustrated, but you must keep trying. I'm sure you'll discover your Semblance any day now..." Pyrrha added.

"Yeah!... though it probably won't be as cool as mine!" Natsu boasted, spitting a bit of fire, followed by a burp of electricity.

"I've been meaning to ask... what's with the electricity? I thought your Semblance was about fire." Jaune questioned.

"Oh, well you see, I was on a boat once (to my misfortune) and found the ship being attacked by some giant dragon Grimm. When I charged at it, it zapped me with a lightning blast. I tried using my fire to block it, but unexpectedly it actually caught the lightning, and merged with it. With this mix of fire and lightning, I found myself even more powerful, and so one hit KO'd the thing with one fire/lightning blast!"

"Oh wow... so your Semblance is probably more about adaptability to the elements rather than fire, huh?" Pyrrha asked, to which Natsu shrugged his shoulders.

"(Sigh) Still, it's not about my Semblance, it's... it's just dumb..." Jaune said with a bit of hesitation.

"What is it? You can tell us..." Natsu assured, putting a hand on his friend's shoulder.

"It's... Weiss..."

"... Well, I already see what you mean now, this is a lost cause." The lizard Faunus responded, letting go of his shoulder and walking away at a casual pace, to which he received an annoyed 'Hey!' from the blond.

"Well, what about her?" Pyrrha asked.

"I asked her to the dance and she shot me down. (Giggle) Big surprise, right?"

"Dude, I was there..." Natsu said, shaking his head in disbelief.

"Well I believe the saying goes, 'there's plenty of fish in the sea'..." Pyrrha added.

"Psh, that's easy for you to say, you two probably got waves of people trying to ask you two out..." Jaune responded.

"(Hehe) You'd be surprised..." Pyrrha countered.

"Yeah well, it's a lot harder than you'd think..." Natsu included, remembering all the girls who dragged him away just to ask him to the dance.

"Oh please, if you don't get a date to the dance, I'll wear a dress." He declared, as he walked away from the rooftop.

As he walked away, Pyrrha changed from a small smile to a look of sorrow, whilst Natsu didn't notice, instead looking into the sky with a curious look.
